The MUSE New York allows one pet up to 40 lbs for no additional fee. Both dogs and cats are welcome. Pets may be left unattended in rooms but the room will not be serviced. Treats, doggy beds and bowls are provided upon request. While there is no pet relief area on the property, a dog park is a 15-minute walk away. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

Great place to stay. Quiet! Could not believe how quiet it was. You can leave your pups there unattended which was great. It is super expensive however and NYC always has extra fees. And the pet fee is very high also. Friendly staff and a great experience.

The hotel was one of the few I found that both took larger dog and allowed dogs to remain unattended in the room. Easy check-in. Welcoming to my pup. Difficult to find nearby places for potty breaks because vendors were setup in the nearby park. Not the hotel's issue, but still made it challenging. In every other way, it was great!

The room was nice and quiet, which was surprising considering the location is right next to Times Square. All the hotel staff were friendly. We left our dog in the room alone several times and felt very comfortable doing so. The only downside is there’s no park or green space that close to the hotel.

Think twice before staying with a pet here if you are traveling from out of town. Firstly, it took us two hours to go from Lincoln Tunnel to the hotel because the road in front of the hotel was closed. You’d think the hotel would let guests know about this situation. Not only were we stuck in traffic for two hours within two blocks of the hotel, the closest garage we could get to during this fiasco was 12 blocks away. Plus, because it is a block off of Times Square, there is nowhere close by that a dog can relieve itself. To top it all off, we had people on our floor blaring the radio for hours at night, irritating us and the dog. Strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

We visited the city with our German Shepherd! The folks at the Muse did not even flinch! In addition to being chill about a huge dog, they were friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in early and they had a complimentary wine event the night we stayed. It is a bit of a walk to the park but then again it is a walking city and we were prepared. Great central location just off of Times Sq. Easy walk to a number of attractions. The staff wore masks. The bar and restaurant was still closed due to covid.

We’ve taken our 85 lb golden to New York before, but this experience topped all of our past trips with him. It’s a great location if you want to be close to the theater district. There is a parking garage right next door (and you can use SpotHero to reserve a spot there ahead of time). They provided a doggie bed when we checked in, and though we were charged an incidentals charge of $100 extra when we checked in, we were told it would be given back if there weren’t any problems. The fact that there’s no pet fee is HUGE for New York, especially since we’ve got such a big boy. The ONLY thing is that there really isn’t a great place to take your pets to relieve themselves. We took him to Bryant park, only a 9 minute walk away, but there are signs there that literally say not to let your dog on the grass. That’s our one criticism, otherwise, if your dog can relieve themselves anywhere and doesn’t need grass to go, we highly recommend this place for a stay.

The Muse was a perfectly located hotel within short walking distance of Times Square, Central Park, and other buildings I wanted to see! I am giving a 4 rating though because there wasn't any grass nearby for my girls to relieve themselves with (Bryant park was closed), and we didn't receive any treats like others had stated.

Perfectly placed for Mid-town, with parking in the adjacent Dock garage, with preferential rates. Rooms are bigger than the average NYC hotel room. Staff were great. Place had a chilled out vibe. Our dog was made very welcome.

We were greeted with big smiles when we arrived and offered dog bowls, a dog bed, and COOKIES upon arrival! We stayed in a king bed room and we had enough room to get up a large crate for my golden doodle Benny. We walked a few blocks to find an area for him to do his business (Bryant park) but I’m sure you’d have to do that at any hotel in the city.
