    Windham is set high in the Catskill Mountains. In winter there is Windham Mountain and other winter sports. Year-round it offers excellent recreational opportunities. In summer the air is delightfully cool a welcome relief from New York City heat. The charming town center has excellent restaurants art galleries and chamber music concerts. You can easily make Windham your base for touring the Northern Catskills and the mid Hudson Valley. Hotel Vienna is set in rolling fields nestled against the Catskill Mountains close to the entrance to Windham Mountain and the Windham Country Club and only a short drive from the center of town. The 2-story hotel has 29 rooms half of them overlooking the Catskill Mountains to the north the others looking onto the finely-landscaped grounds around the pool building and sunning deck. Pool continental breakfast and dramatic landscape combined with skiing and golf make the Hotel Vienna a choice Catskills mid Hudson Valley getaway.

      Excellent

      This place was a surprise gem! The staff were super friendly. The entire place was clean, bright, quiet, and comfortable. Our room had a nice balcony. The breakfast bar was very nice - the croissant were the best I’ve had in a long time. The hotel is adjacent to a very nice flat walking trail. We loved this place!
