This Austinburg hotel is five miles from Ashtabula County Ohio Covered Bridges Tour and 10 miles from Geneva on the Lake. The hotel is also close to the Underground Railroad Museum, the Ashtabula County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Kent State University. Easy to access from the highway. This location is dog friendly, but the dog room smelled very musty; the carpet felt damp under my feet. There was kibble on the bathroom floor in a corner. The lamp and clock weren’t plugged in and when I moved the bedside table to plug them in, there was a plastic bag with treats under it. The hotel is very costly and the pet fee charged put my bill over $200 for a less than desirable room. There are few safe options for walking your dog, no sidewalks. I do not recommend this location.

The sheets were clean and the beds comfortable but no pool, no free breakfast. The room smelled a little weird, and the place generally has seen better days.
