With large windows, skylights, and lots of open air, the 2,200 sq. ft. home is designed to maximize your enjoyment of the beautiful surrounding nature. Lose yourself in the breathtaking views of the Seattle skyline, Mt Rainier, Mt Baker, the Cascades, and stay entertained all day watching boat traffic, bald eagles, osprey, seals, otters, whales and so much more. If you're headed to Olympic National Park, this is the perfect home to come back to after a long day's journey into the wilderness.
Calling all BIRDERS! This location is a special treat that offers vibrant birdlife right outside the back door. Kitsap county, in particular, is a birdwatcher's paradise with the likes of bald eagles, Anna's hummingbird, dark-eyed junco, great blue heron and much more whizzing right by the bluffs of the Puget Sound. The luxury waterfront home has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to ten guests comfortably. All rooms are dressed with premium linens and pillows to ensure deep rest and relaxation, and offer plenty of storage for your things.
The master suite is absolutely stunning, featuring a king bed with Purple mattress, surrounded by ocean-inspired accents. The open-air bathroom and unobstructed views of the Sound from the bed add to the serene effect of being one with nature.
The second bedroom is the PNW Room, a dark and majestic space that invites romance. It features stone accents, high, wood-paneled ceilings, and an open bathroom with views of the Sound right from the shower.
The third bedroom is the Aviary, named after its bird and botanical elements. A bright splash of blues and yellows surround a high-end Queen bed. Plush pillows and soft lighting invite you to the daybed and learn about all the local birds of the area.
The fourth bedroom, The Eagle's Nest, is a cozy hideaway upstairs that you can access by a spiral staircase. Complete with a Queen bed and two Twin beds, it's the perfect spot for the younger members of your party. You can also see the Puget Sound right from bed, and peek through the fog to catch a glimpse of Mt Rainier towering over Downtown Seattle.

The master bedroom features an open-air bathroom that blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor living. The space is equipped with a giant overhead rain shower, handheld jet, a custom-made marble tub, and a towel warmer. No matter where you stand, you're surrounded by tranquil blue walls and expansive windows so you can see the Puget Sound.
The open bathroom in the PNW room features a sleek black vanity, marbled floors and walls, and an overhead shower with horizontal shower jets.
The third bathroom ensuite is shared, featuring black penny tile, modern shower features, a towel warmer, and fresh eucalyptus so you feel like you're at the spa.

The back of the house faces east and contains 10 pieces of 4'x4' glass. Brew some coffee and enjoy brunch on deck during sunrise! This space has two separate outdoor sectionals, a fire pit, and an incredible hot tub overlooking the water. Bring a good book out to the back and relax in one of the chaise lounges, or use the telescope to look for birds and wildlife. Follow the walkway and staircase down to the private beach to go kayaking, paddle-board, search for clams, or a simple morning stroll on the sandy shores of Kingston.

SaltWood has its own private driveway that can accommodate 6-8 cars. When you stay in this home you'll have the entire place to yourself, all the rooms and amenities. You'll be given a door code to access the home via a smart lock. The home is equipped with everything you need for a dreamy vacation, including a full-size washer and dryer, high-speed WiFi, premium linens, a hot tub, and a BBQ. There are eight private parking spaces on the property, and you're just a short drive from local restaurants and boutiques.

OTHER NOTES ABOUT THE HOME
☀ Pet-Friendly... SaltWood welcomes potty-trained, well-behaved pets for a flat rate of $300/pet/stay. We kindly ask that nails be trimmed as close to arrival as possible. *NO CATS ALLOWED
☀ Privacy... The property is very private and quiet. There's one neighbor to the north. They will respect your privacy and we also ask that you do the same for them (be mindful of using drones, playing extremely loud music at night, etc...)
☀ The Japanese soaking tub... Not to be confused with a store-bought jacuzzi, the jets in this custom-built tub were built for water and heat circulation (not massaging the body). The muffled sound of the jets allows you to enjoy the serenity of ocean waves crashing onto the shore below. We set the temperature to 101 and you can adjust accordingly.
Booking Policies
1. Pets : We welcome potty-trained, well-behaved pets for a flat rate of ***$300*** per pet per stay. We have specific policies that we will ask each guest agree to.
2. Renter's Agreement - Renter must sign an agreement before arrival. Every renter must sign this agreement before getting the arrival instructions and door code.
3. Security Deposit : A $100 Security Deposit is required for all bookings. Security deposits are collected separately by the property host (not by AirBnB).
4. Guest Count / No Extra Guests- The guest count on your reservation MUST be accurate. Pricing does change with the number of guests because our turnover costs are variable. Extra guests may be allowed on a case by case basis for additional costs. No extra guests are allowed for any time if not prior approved.
