The room wasn't too bad. There was a trash can in the exit area that stunk. It had obviously not been checked in several days. Refrigerator didn't work.

Large room, very clean. Staff very pleasant and helpful. The food at the on-site restaurant was great. Breakfast freshly made and also excellent. Maintenance issue handled immediately. Only drawback was not a lot of space for walking your four legged companions. We would definitely stay there again.

Best Western Plus is such a nice place to stay. They have an excellent restaurant on site and you can have your dog sit with you on the verdanda! The pool is clean and refreshing. Everyone who works there is very pleasant and welcoming. We have stayed there a couple of times and plan to be back!

The facility was dog tolerable. I wouldn't describe them as dog-friendly. There was no place identified for pet relief, and it was surrounded by black top making it hard to find a place for the dog should the weather be warmer. Because of COVID we were unable to order room service, but needed to order from the restaurant and then go pick it up. There were items omitted from our order, and miscommunication caused parts to not be cooked. So I had to go back to pick up the remaining items 30 minutes later. Further, because of "COVID" we were unable to charge our meal to our room, despite being told it was allowable by the front desk. Causing me to again have to go back to the room to get a credit card. Other than these items, the room was a basic hotel room. Bed was average and lighting and wi-fi were acceptable.

The doggie rooms are on the first floor, which is not always a plus, but in this case, it is fine! The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is accommodating. This hotel is worth a visit. Also, I learned about the Headlands State Park on Lake Erie. My dog and I spent an enjoyable hour and a half walking the trails. It is a 15m drive from the hotel.

The Best Western was a lovely hotel playing off of the historic nature of the town. Clean, comfortable suites with a super location. Doug at the front desk was very helpful and was able to provide excellent service. The dog service area was minimal but Doug suggested I walk around the block where a beautiful farm estate provided smells for my hound. Highly recommend a stop at this Best Western.

The hotel is friendly. There isn’t any grass area for dogs but there is some flower beds. They greet your dog with dog biscuits and there is an attached restaurant that allows you to sit outside with the pup. Upscale food!

Super clean rooms, great little bar and restaurant on site, very friendly, dog-loving reception and check-in staff. The only reason I didn't give 5 bones is that the pet walking area is pretty sparse, but my Bulldogs didn't seem to mind!
