Description
The Bed and Breakfast is located in the heart of downtown Chesterton Indiana, you will experience some of the best rail-fan activity in the Midwest. After decades of accumulating railroad antiques, art, and memorabilia; and over two years of extensive restoration and renovation; in 2010 we completed the transformation of Chesterton's old freight station into a venue for our collection. The Inn is located near Indiana Dunes National Park, as well as Lake Michigan and its unforgettable flora and fauna.

This is a really cute B&B. Dogs of all sizes are welcome in the boxcar rooms. There’s a park just half a block away. We had dinner at 219 Taproom across the street (not dog friendly). Please note: this B&B is located adjacent to busy railroad tracks and it is noisy. Earplugs are provided for better sleep but we found we didn’t really need them. A full sit-down breakfast is provided at 9:00 am daily.
