  Did not feel safe

  It’s cheap. Room was smelly, dank and not very clean. Very sketchy neighborhood. People milling about at all hours of the night. I left earlier than planned to move to a safer, cleaner location at the La Quinta Northwest Expressway. Not much more expensive and far superior. The Red Roof wouldn’t refund the night I did use even though I gave them plenty of notice. They said it was out of their control. BringFido even called to negotiate and they wouldn’t give. Stay away!

  Was charged for room twice and had hidden cash fees that was not revealed at time of booking. Failed to credit my card.

  Not terrible, not good

  The rooms are a bit outdated. The carpet is worn and tattered at the edges. The bed is comfortable. There are a couple of places to let your pet do it's business. They do provide bags and trash cans for disposal. The one clerk that I did encounter upon checking into my room was abrasive, despite the fact that I was agreeing with their terms the entire time he was yelling at me about the rules for pets. I do not recommend staying here for more than a day or two.

  Works in a pinch but wouldn’t recommend

  On a cross country road trip during Memorial Day weekend and this was one of our only options. Was it the Ritz Carlton? No, was it the scum of the earth? Close, but no. The area is very questionable, homeless encampments with tents nearby; no grassy areas to take your dog, that aren’t on the side of a very busy road. We got a ground floor room which was convenient. In a pinch (which was the case for us) I guess it works, but honestly I would try to avoid going here again.

  Great room

  The room was great, but the surrounding area was SCARY!!! Friends who live in Oklahoma City said if they had known they would've told us to not stay there because of the area. We did really like the room, though.

  Just okay

  The front desk agents weren't too excited to be there, and there is a $40 cash deposit. The rooms were clean but dingy in places.

  Clean room, didn’t love the area

  The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and it had everything I needed. The one thing that was odd is there was no lid on the toilet. I even got to park fairly close to my room so that was nice. Not a big fan of where this is located, but then again I don’t really know Oklahoma City that well. Traveling alone as a woman puts a different perspective on things, at least I had my two big dogs. They seemed pretty comfortable also.

  Clean but run down

  Room was clean but needed updating. The carpet was worn in several places. The blanket had two burn holes even though we were in a no smoking room. The front desk guy was surly & unhelpful. The dog walk area had multiple piles of dog feces that weren’t cleaned up leading to diseases. I didn’t feel like it was a good place to walk my dog. My husband & I will not stay here again on our way home.

  Good stay

  I good hotel for the price. We were comfortable with our cat. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. It was a bit noisy with people arriving late in the evening, etc. All in all a good stay
