The dog friendly rooms are on the third floor with a direct entrance from the parking lot. There are a fair number of rules including that the dog has to go in and out this back door only (which was fine with us). The wonderful restaurant, Larks, set up a table for us in the lobby where we had an excellent meal. They did have to check with a manager so I don’t know if they’d do this every time, but we were fortunate to have we an amazing three course meal in the beautiful lobby (decorated for the holidays) while our dog lay peacefully at our feet. They will also bring it to your room. The room was a little small (we booked the Boutique Queen) but we were only there for one night and spent very little time in the room. We took the getaway package - $188 for a boutique Queen with a $75 credit at Larks, movie tickets (which we couldn’t do) and access to the sauna and spa rooms (also didn’t have time to do). The Larks credit alone was worth it.

The historical hotel is well maintained and clean although the room was small for a king size bed. The staff was dog friendly and the access to outside was great. Parking was convenient and the location was within walking distance of lots of good bars, restaurant and a couple of dog parks. We would stay there again.

When I checked in, my girl barked. She had been in the car for 5 hours straight. The staff warned me if there was too much barking they'd ask me to leave.

This hotel is within walking distance to eat and shop. Locally owned ice cram and coffee shop right across the street.

We were welcomed and put on the 3rd floor which has direct access to the outside where grass is nearby. My husband looked at the room and asked, "Do they know we have a dog?” Haha!

Lovely grand old hotel. Don’t know about other rooms, but our dog “friendly” room was extremely small. Limited amenities for pets. We arrived at 10 at night—parking lot was full and there was no place to take dog out to poop. We had to walk several blocks at night to find some open space for the dog to do her thing. We would say that the hotel is great for people, but maybe more dog tolerant than friendly.

Stunning piece of history beautifully preserved while modern updates satisfy! Check-in was quick and easy, bed was super comfy, room was quiet, bathroom well appointed and breakfast was diverse, tasty and healthy. Our dog loved the lobby!

Totally dog friendly with a great blvd to walk your dog around. Very cute “Dog Bar” drinking fountain outside the front entrance. Our stay included a delicious continental breakfast and they have outdoor seating so you can enjoy with your dog.

Excellent hotel located in the heart of everything and just a stroll away from shops and restaurants. Our puppy was welcome everywhere! The hotel is very accommodating for pets - we even got to take him into the breakfast area (which was very good!). Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Charming hotel right downtown Ashland. My owners love to take me for walks around town to get coffee, ice cream, etc. & everyone is so friendly. The restaurant, Larks, is very good & has a dog-friendly patio.

Nice place, but no good potty spot for my dog. Had to walk several blocks to a park to find a place he was comfortable doing his business. If your dog is OK going on asphalt a nice place conveniently located. On the main drag, but quiets down by 10pm or so.
