Reviews
- JenniferDec 7, 2023Room smelled and toilet ran all nihht
I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and it’s gone downhill. The room smelled like animal urine, the toilet was dirty and it ran off and on all night. It’s definitely seen better days.
- ScottSep 19, 2023Marginal at best
I never post reviews but when after a day of traveling the shower is barely lukewarm, can’t say I’ll be back.
- JoanAug 15, 2023Nice and clean accommodations
Would recommend. Only consideration is that there is no elevator in the pet-friendly building.
- GingerMar 25, 2023Great location!
Perfect for a visit to central Ashland with a furry friend.
- GinaNov 4, 2022Great spot to stay with your dog
Very welcoming. The room was very nice and the restaurant was good. My small dog was allowed to join me in the dining room at dinner. I will definitely be returning here.
- MaryOct 17, 2022Poor customer service
I was called and told they didn’t take dogs and when I got there without my dog they said, oh no they take dogs. They made it like they didn’t say that. They didn’t fix a broken TV. And the food for breakfast was horrible.
- DebbieOct 12, 2022Beautiful view
Nice grassy area for doggies. An elevator would be nice for weary travelers. Packaged breakfast disappointing.
- AnnSep 10, 2022Great location
Is located near restaurants and shops. Pet-friendly rooms are in a separate building. It was nice to have a balcony but we were on the second floor with no elevator.
- BobbiAug 29, 2022Fabulous location!
This is a nice hotel steps away from the theatres and downtown shopping. They have covered parking and a lovely patio with green grass and shade and a lovely fountain. The breakfast was adequate, if uninspired (typical mid-range hotel offerings). The linens were a bit worn, but the freshly washed coverlet and down blanket were appreciated and the bed was comfortable. We’d stay here again.
- LloydJul 31, 2022Good Location
In the heart of central Ashland, but lots of places for walking the dog.
- KorieMar 12, 2022Centrally located place to stay
Dog friendly, close to the main theater district, quiet and comfortable room. I will stay here again. The room big enough for my small dog to enjoy five minutes of the zoomies!
- CarolMar 4, 2022Second visit
Consistently welcoming, this time we were on second floor. I don’t expect provisions for my dog, I’m grateful that she is welcomed. Soap, shampoo, conditioner are provided and all was clean. Nice area to walk in, the creek is nearby, lots to see but we stop the way to Seattle and it’s perfect for our needs.
- TheresaOct 25, 2021Good for dogs but...
Dogs are only allowed to stay in the rooms in a separate small 2-story building at the entrance to the hotel's parking lot. We didn't notice any additional offerings for dogs when we checked in such as dog beds, poop bags, toys, treats, etc. We had our own dog supplies so that wasn't an issue for us. Our room was quite large and quiet, although our dog could hear people's movements in the hall, which caused her to bark once. There's a thin grassy area that wraps around the hotel where dogs can relieve themselves. The neighboring area was pleasant for walking a dog, as well. We also found a terrific 2 acre fenced dog park down the hill at the end of the street near a creek.
The walk to cafes & restaurants was pleasant & short. As for human comforts at this hotel -- the bed in our room was comfortable. The bathroom, however, wasn't very clean, which was a little distressing during Covid. Also, the tiny bath mat was missing good portion of one corner and part of its side, presumably chewed off by a prior guest. The breakfast left much to be desired: a brown bag containing an orange and all pre-packaged foods like a yogurt cup, cold hard boiled eggs & a bagel. There wasn't a toaster in the room or in the main hotel so nothing warm about this breakfast. The week prior to our stay here we spent a night at the Ashland Springs Hotel. While that hotel was more dog friendly, our room there was incredibly small with barely enough space next to our bed for our dog's bed.
- DebraJul 24, 2021Perfect location!
Pay the extra for a room off the garden! Very pretty… walk to all your favorite restaurants and enjoy al fresco dining in beautiful Ashland. Will stay again!
