This place is so overpriced. the photos make it seem like it’s going to be a pretty decent motel, but nope. The bedrooms smell of dog pee and marijuana and we had a non smoking room? There are absolutely no relief stations for your dog. There’s an area in the back that looks like it be a great relief station for your dog but it’s COVERED in stickers. They have the tiniest piece of grass in the very front, and absolutely no trash cans anywhere for the poop bags. Will not be staying here again and wouldn’t recommend this place.

Our room did not appear like the photos advertised. The hotel and our room smelled terrible and was so strong that I got a headache. We were very glad to only be staying here one night. The linens seemed clean enough which is why I'm giving this 2 stars, but I wouldn't stay here again or recommend staying here if you don't have to.

This motel seemed a bit overpriced. We appreciated the room was clean and it had hardwood flooring instead of carpeting, especially given the carpeting in the hallway and stairway was rather worn. We were given a room on the 2nd floor and it was a bit of a hassle getting the pup in and out (we had assumed that we would be placed on the 1st floor, but had not requested it). The view from our room was of a dumpster and piles of trash such as old broken toilets. As others observed, the so-called grassy area was nasty with lots of trash and piles of dog poop. The owner was very nice, but mask compliance was clearly not his thing even though it was mandated by the state of Oregon at the time we stayed there.

We had needed a handicap accessible room and were given one. It was very nice. I told the very pleasant young lady up front at check in that my dog was a service animal, she said she would remove the fee
The pet area is quite mess as it seems no one cleans up after the pet, a real shame. In the morning our receipt was slipped under our door so we didn't have to go to the front desk to check out. A time saver. I did notice that they charged the pet fee for my service dog. I didn't go complain as the fee was nominal and the room was nice. Would recommend to anyone needing a night's rest passing through Baker City. - AnnaJun 25, 2021Super 8
Was not impressed with this place. Grounds were unclean, covered in dog poop. I literally had to watch every step if I wasn't on pavement. I am happy the welcome pets, but they should have poop bag stations and outdoor garbage cans on the property to facilitate people cleaning up after their animals. There was a sweet tiny kitten in the hallway when we arrived. My husband mentioned it to an employee who proceeded to very roughly pick up the kitten and walk away. A few minutes later a woman came out of a room looking for her kitten and was told by the front desk that the kitten had been taken to the pound. There was no way that could have happened in that short amount of time. The woman was very sad and upset, and I spent the evening and next day wondering what had really happened to the kitten.

Clean room with comfortable beds. Not a lot of grass for puppy potty business but sufficient enough. Great for a quick pass over.

I can’t say enough about the helpful staff here. Friendly to my puppy and gracious when helping me with the washing machine difficulty. Greeted me every time, asked how my night was, did I need an extra blanket, etc. Bare floors were a major plus and everything was clean.

Nice motel with great staff. Good sized room and plenty of areas to walk the dog when “Nature” calls. Only negative: coffee pot in room was disgusting with lime buildup and coffee itself was horrible. Other than that, a great place to stay that welcomes your dogs.

The motel was conveniently located, but the soaking tub was gross. There was no carpet in the room! Which people with multiple pets know that carpet is disgusting! So that was a bonus! Breakfast was great (coffee wasn’t) and the bed/pillows were comfy! So it worked.
