      OK for passing through

      No real place for a dog to go. Grass out front, but posted as 'No pets on grass'.

      Beware of plumbing issues

      The family that ran the business were very nice and we were quite comfortable. The room had a funky smell and we realized the next morning that the carpet was damp and there was water backed up in the tub before we showered (it wasn't there when we went to bed the night before). Then the toilet backed up (Yikes!). The family gave us a key to another room to use to get ready and we were on our way. My biggest complaint is that they have nice grass out front with a big sign that says "No dogs allowed" and we were forced to take fido behind the building to do his business on gravel. Very disappointing.

      Grass area, easy access,

      This is an inexpensive, roadside motel, but it worked for us on a road trip with a 65# dog. Staff was very nice and also flexible when we actually stayed an extra day (not because it was beautiful but because we needed wifi for a day of work). Ice machine is the bomb, tho!
