If I could give this a zero I would. We are snowbirds so do serious driving twice a year. Often stay at Quality Inns and usually happy. However this place is a very run down facility. With signs that the owner/manager doesn’t give a damn. We expect to be put in designated rooms for pets. This room - #143 - smelled like either seriously dirty dog or rodents. I suspect rodents because a very old, dilapidated, large trailer with broken stairway was right next to building and adjacent to the strange fake grass “dog area” which was next to 3 old shabby vans/trucks parked. Around the awful trailer was piles of trash, including old sink/counters standing on their side and many other removed from rooms building materials plus piles of cardboard boxes that originally contained the cheap vinyl flooring put down in this room. It wouldn’t take a lot of effort to at least recycle the cardboard. More effort to haul the discarded building materials to the dump and pay the dump fee. It is serious housing for rodents. Now about the room itself. It smelled so bad we could hardly breath.
I carry spray bottle of 91% alcohol to spray rooms per Covid. I sprayed, we left for an hour returned and decided alcohol covered smell. One electric outlet was missing a cover- again careless and appears manager could care less. Towels were very cheap, very thin, very small. I bathe at night. Water was at best Luke warm so no hot water to bathe in. Shower/bathtub reverse knob didn’t work so had to fill tub via shower head. Tub drain would not fully close so had to place rubber stopper I carry with me to contain water. Door to toilet/tub/shower was cheap fake wood that dragged over floor when trying to close it. Noticed large pool area at complex closed and used as major storage area Ice machine “out of order.” By morning the smell had overpowered the alcohol and was really bad. On the only positive note, beds were comfortable. I really feel corporate Quality Inn should know that such a dump carries their name. We will now be hesitant about other Quality Inns!!

Had a dog relief area but was not monitored and was filled with poop. Owners did not pick up from their dogs. Rooms somewhat dated. An entire building was just for pets.
