We loved that we could have our dogs. We did not love that many dog owners DID NOT pick up their dogs poop! There were bags available, so no excuse. The room cleaners were very friendly and courteous. The outside garbage cans were overflowing. We liked that breakfast was available.

We had a ground floor room that was very close to the door to the pet area. The pet area was very green and nice.

I’ve been traveling using this App for nearly a month with no negative issues until I came to this place.
First, when I arrived they wouldn’t come out to front desk. I had to ring the bell, no big deal, but it must have annoyed the lady running the front. She was rude and when I said I had pets she said no pet rooms are available. I have a photo of this empty parking lot shows they don’t look full. 7 cars in parking lot. It’s 14 degrees outside. I believe she intentionally denied me probably because I am a minority. I don’t understand why else we where disrespected and she had an attitude toward toward me. I was very disappointed in this place. Yes, I was traveling with a dog, a very well behaved dog! However, this was not my first time staying at a dog friendly location. Never before have I been charged premium price for a room in such bad shape. The carpet had holes dug in it in several places and was filthy. Yet I was charged top dollar. I called the front desk to make sure they were aware as I did not want to be charged for the damages. They said yes, but still charged me top dollar. They will not get any more of my business!!

The hotel staff gave us a dog friendly room. It was on the first floor and as soon as you open the door the very old stale smoke hit you in the face. No way in Hell were we accepting this room. Hubby went back to lobby and asked for a different room. They gave us a room two doors down that had an odor we can’t even explain. Once again back to the lobby. My hubby politely asked for a room that didn’t smell. The staff was not very accommodating but gave us another room on the second floor to check out but not let our “animal” in unless the room was acceptable. The area out side for the dogs was large enough but there was dog poo everywhere. I never leave my dog’s poo so we walked all the way to the other side of the hotel to their garbage bin. I give a one bone rating just because they had good coffee.
