The grounds where you are supposed to walk your dogs are just filled with dog poop. It is difficult to walk and have to avoid piles every couple of feet on any of the grass areas or dirt areas next to the sidewalks. They do charge $75/stay going up to $125/stay. I went in to complain and ask for maintenance to take care of it 2x/day- they would say they’ll take care of it but nothing was ever done. Just more poop showing with each successive day. There are other problems- water was cut off for 5 hours with no informing the guests, the fan in our unit sounded like a dying bird caught in a garbage disposal and for an “apartment” style stay there was not dish soap and when I called the front desk to ask for some they said they were out and weren’t planning to buy some locally for the guests. Hard to clean dishes with no dish soap. I have stayed in other Residence Inns probably 6 or 7 different ones and always with dogs- I have never seen such a poorly managed property related to dogs and no dogs. We were supposed to stay for 5 nights but left after 3 for a place that is more responsible.
