While I was checking in, I witnessed a guest walk through the lobby with his unleashed dog following him out the front door. Then the shuttle driver comes in to tell the desk that a dog has jumped into a car and that he had to be dragged out of the car. And sure enough, it was our car. My girlfriend had the driver door open and the dog jumped into the front seat aggressively to get to our dogs in the back. Fortunately no one was injured. I realize the main person at fault was the other guest, but the hotel allowed it to happen and then I was told they could do nothing for us because we booked with a third party. So with this experience, along with the fact that the hotel was dirty - sheets has some sort of dirt stain and the bathroom smelled - I have to give a 1 bone review. I will give a shout out to the shuttle driver, since he was the one most concerned about the incident and apologized several times to us.

The main reason I booked this hotel (besides being dog friendly) was for the the waterslide. Well to me and my kids disappointment the hotel was under construction and the waterslide and pool were closed. The room they put is in was overall clean and comfortable, but at night when I put on the air conditioning I kept getting whiffs of urine. I sniffed all over until I finally found the source. It was the air conditioner. Eww!!

Rooms ok. Found out NO breakfast provided, with no compensation for online error. Pretty flippant at front desk. Not much dog friendly stuff. I won’t be back.

I’m not usually a fan of budget hotels but this one is different! The staff was great: warm, welcoming, informative, helpful. They create a good vibe. Impressed! The room was clean, the bed was fine, but the people were what made our stay enjoyable! Plus, they are very pet friendly. Super!
