    Great location

    Chewy was comfortable. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was good.

    Convenient location

    Now that Costco has moved from next door, nearby traffic has been reduced. There is a large green space right by the hotel and next to the river. There is easy access to the freeway. An alternative to the free breakfast is the Denny’s across the street.

    Convenient location off the interstate

    Easy to get to and get back on the road in the morning. Staff was friendly to our dog and the stairway is well lit if your pet doesn’t like elevators (ours is not a fan).

    Satisfied in Salem

    Our experience with our dog was fine. No special treatment however we felt comfortable with our dog. The soft music in the lobby was calming when we arrived late afternoon, however, as our room was close to the lobby it was a bit sleep distracting at 3am. I would suggest that the music could be turned off 10pm to 8am. Plentiful breakfast and room and common areas very clean.

    Nice hotel

    One of the better La Quintas! This one was all updated, even the rooms. The only problem was the vent air smelled like smoke! Breakfast should go until 10am!

    Great location!

    We traveled with 3 dogs, a large German Shepherd dog, a lab and a small terrier. We were welcomed with opened arms. Loved the hospitality and the morning coffee wasn’t bad either!

    Salem La Quinta

    Upon arrival we were greeted by Shurrel who was as pleasant and efficient as I could have expected. She greeted our 11 month old Golden Retriever and our cats. The room was better than expected, the bed was comfortable and there wasn’t any road or building behind us. Only field. We left too early this morning to take advantage of your breakfast items. The only negative was the room next to us that has their television too loud. That is an indicator to me that there isn’t much barrier between rooms. Otherwise everything was great.

    Friendly front desk and nice room!

    The staff was great! The dog relief area was very nice and the room and breakfast very nice!

    Great hotel, but…

    What a great room, excellent location, however the end of December they were in a remodeling phase which meant most of the downstairs rooms were booked. They did, however, give us a room right next to the elevator. The pet area is very large, no fences and with the construction you can’t get back to the assigned pet area. Please call them. Great staff. Beautiful room, but find out if they are finished with construction.
