Villa Poseidon is a meticulously designed retreat in the serene village of Leukogia, offering breathtaking countryside and sea views. The villa’s private swimming pool commands attention at first sight, covering 35 m² with a depth of 1.40 m. It also includes a thoughtfully designed children’s area of 4 m² at 0.50 m deep, combining safety with hours of carefree enjoyment. Picture leisurely hours spent by the pool with loved ones, basking in the warm Cretan sun, enjoying the gentle summer breeze, and taking in the expansive blue skies. The 2000 m² outdoor area invites you to savor spectacular sunset views from the shaded veranda, where elegant dining and seating areas connect seamlessly with the kitchen and living spaces. Stone-built BBQ facilities and an outdoor sink provide the perfect setting for alfresco culinary experiences, transforming every meal into a memorable occasion. Expansive lawn areas and a separate shaded pergola with sun loungers complete this outdoor haven, ensuring comfort, relaxation, and an unrivaled sense of serenity.

Internal Living | Beds & Baths

Villa Poseidon covers 110 m2 and it’s divided in two levels. The Villa can accommodate up to 6 guests in its 3 bedrooms and it’s a perfect choice for families, as well as groups of friends.

First Floor

• Two Bedrooms with Queen Beds (1.60 x 2.00), one of which has also its own small veranda at the rear part of the Villa, equipped with patio furniture • Twin Bedroom with two single beds (0.90 x 2.00), that can be joined into a double bed, upon request • All bedrooms are air conditioned, and have a wardrobe • Shared Bathroom with bathtub.

Your Home Stay Includes

Welcome basket included, courtesy of the owner • Housekeeping service with fresh towels and linen changes every four days (included for stays of 6 nights and above) • Pool and garden maintenance twice per week • Baby cot, high chair are available. • Stroller and baby monitor available upon request

There is secure parking space at the Villa’s premises for five cars • The property is well-equipped with: Fridge with freezer, electric oven & stove, Dishwasher, Kettle, Toaster, Sandwich Maker, Food processor, Filter coffee maker, Washing machine, Detergents, Iron & ironing board, Hairdryer, First aid kit, Fully equipped kitchen.

TO SEE: Villa Poseidon enjoys a privileged setting near the village of Lefkogia, on Crete’s captivating south coast. Within an easy 400-metre walk, guests will find a local taverna and a supermarket, ensuring everyday conveniences are always close at hand. Just 8 minutes away by car lies the seaside village of Plakias, known for its long sandy beach and relaxed coastal atmosphere. The beach is fully organized with sunbeds, umbrellas, changing rooms, and showers, while the surrounding rocky areas are ideal for fishing and snorkeling. The beachfront road is perfect for leisurely walks or cycling, offering uninterrupted sea views.

TO DINE: Lefkogia provides a taste of authentic Cretan life with a traditional taverna within walking distance of the villa. For greater variety, Plakias offers an excellent selection of restaurants, tavernas, cafés, and beach bars. Along the village’s main road, guests will also find supermarkets, bakeries, ATM machines, a post office, and a doctor’s office, while the beachfront features snack bars, water sports facilities, beach volley courts, and shops offering local and traditional products. Dining here is relaxed and convivial, often enjoyed under the shade of tamarisk trees by the sea.
