Hotel felt pretty run down. My room was small and dingy. The HVAC unit was very loud and inefficient. It started rattling badly in the middle of the night, making it very difficult to sleep. Even when it was off, I was kept awake by a loud dripping from the unit upstairs. Hallway noise was pretty bad. When the people staying in the room directly across the hall came/went, it sounded like someone was right at our door. This bothered my pup, who would bark. The paper-thin walls did little to insulate any noise, and I was constantly worried about annoying other guests. Several problems with keycards. I had to go down to the desk three times for new keys, and eventually get assigned a different room, after checking in.

Rooms clean and roomy. Friendly staff. In town location that made it hard to find a patch of grass for the dogs. But the restaurant 1714 pub connected to hotel (forget the name) made it a perfect stop! What a great dinner!
