  Not secure

  The doors that lead to the outside do not lock so anyone can come in off the street and up to the second floor. The fan in the bathroom was so noisy I showered with the light off. hotel needs major updates. Gunk around switches on the lamps. Pillows feel hard like if you folded up a towel in the shape of a pillow and put a pillow case on it. Maybe made of futon material and the mattress did not sink in but round up. Pretty darn uncomfortable.

  Beware

  Beware, our 200 dollar deposit was never refunded. I called and was told it will come off on the 5th business day. On the 5th business day, it stayed. I called the hotel again and this time I was told the 200 dollars would not be returned because there were ash's and smell of perfume in the room... Convenient... I did not bring cologne and my mother did not bring perfume. Wish we would have because even though the room looked clean, it smelled like cat urine. We came to Erie to buy a car. Guess they saw a new Acura and assumed I wouldn't miss the 200. Sketchy. No one smoked in the room, nor did it smell like smoke or perfume.

  Great for a RRI

  So, the room rate was severely inflated - I have actually stayed in NYC in Hilton properties for significantly lesser, however there is a huge influx of folks in Erie due to the decreased pandemic. This place was sold out. It’s not large and fancy - but that isn’t what you expect from a dog friendly hotel, highway located. Safe, clean enough and overall very friendly staff. Our pup and us watched the Olympics, ate some Wegmans food and crashed for the night. If that’s all you’re looking for, you found the right spot. Again, it’s not a 5-star hotel, but the quality you receive is perfect for what you expect. Would stay again if traveling with the pup. Thank you Red Roof!

  Too noisy

  Hotel right next to highway. Thank God the ac unit was noisy so the semis rolling past were a little muffled.

  Checking in was super easy and quick. The staff was so nice and accommodating. We asked for extra towels and they were brought promptly. The room was clean and very nice. The only downfall is that the trash can holding the bags of dog waste needed emptied very badly, even when we went to leave the next day it was still almost overflowing. But overall this hotel is great pet friendly place to stay.

  Red roof.

  I requested handicapped accessibility but the room was on 2nd floor no elevators. It was very loud all night long. We wouldn’t stay there again.

  Cheap and clean

  It was a pleasant place to stay. The kind size bed was my favorite. Lots of room for pup. Water pressure a little off but overall great.

  Snowy night in Erie

  Nice that they assisted us in staying an extra night due to inclement weather. Free pets stay was great. Warm room, dry bed. No issues.

  Great Dog Freindly Location

  Newly renovated. Provides McDonald's coupon, next door for breakfast. Only issue is very close to Instate 90, so road noise, as would be expected.

  Clean rooms, good location

  Stayed with three big dogs (setup in advance), and was very pleased with both the room and the grounds. Would not hesitate to stay again.

  Really good for the money

  We had a small dog. They gave us an upstairs room on the back away from the interstate. If it was a regular pet room, it had no smell at all (listen up La Quinta!). The room had been recently refitted, was very clean and comfortable. They gave breakfast coupons for the McDonalds next door. We'd definitely stay there again.
