Room was clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly -- especially toward our boy Ruger. We definitely would stay again if we traveled that way again.

The room was clean and quiet, beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly. 3 bones because the rooms are on the smaller side and I don't care for when the sink is outside of the bathroom (personal preference but not a deal breaker). Our shower temperature didn't adjust though, luckily I like a pretty hot shower. And our traveler's room the sink leaked all over. So while it was apparently "newly renovated" rooms they were lacking. The breakfast was not good.

Traveling west on I-80, we stopped at the Best Western Lock Haven. The hotel was clean and grounds well kept. Had a pleasant experience with the staff and no hassle with the dog. The queen room was, however, very small for two people plus a medium dog. You may want to ask if there are larger rooms which are OK with pets.

Clean, updated rooms. Simple accommodations/a little run down on the interior halls and lobby but a friendly staff and good place to stop with your dogs on a road trip.

Very friendly staff, that came out and greeted my dog. Lots of grassy areas and a large lot of grass across the street to burn off some energy.
Rooms were very clean, comfy beds and a nice breakfast included.

We always stay at this hotel when we drive from our home in Boston to family in Cincinnati (Lock Haven is about halfway in-between). The staff love animals, and they always try to put pet families on the first floor with easy access outside. The rooms are small but large enough for a dog crate, and we like that they've been recently renovated and very clean. The hotel has a back parking lot and large grassy field for dogs to run (not fenced, though) and do their business. Highly-recommended for pet owners!
