I have stayed here previously but am feeling place is going downhill. It is in needs of updating. It’s a nice location but it needs things like painting interior. We had a double queen and the one bed’s linen had what looked like green mucous on the corner. The door into room looked like it had been kicked in and a lousy job of repairing the panel. Bathroom door would not close. Shower curtain had mold at the bottom. It was a suite and the floor lamp was broken leaning toward the wall. The remotes didn’t work correctly. The furniture had dust. If it hadn’t been a holiday weekend we would have left. Will not return

Showing signs of wear, we have stayed at Clarion many times over the years. It is showing signs of wear, needs some serious updating. I like convenience of being next to Fireside Tavern. Sheets were stained and I am not high maintenance by any means. Would stay again because it is pet friendly and $20 is reasonable.

Staff very helpful and friendly but just like previous review, room reeked of urine, was dirty and about 15 years worn out. Tub had been hand painted as well as the loose toilet seat. Location is great, appearance on outside is great, nearby resturant is also great ..... Room pffftt..... Not so much. 😞 lucky of us I carry my own cleaning chemicals. We survived one night.

The staff were very friendly and will give you a roll of waste bags with a dispenser upon check in. The location was great too, and quiet. Why the two stars? Immediately walking into the room it reeked of urine and hair was found in the corners before our dog even entered the room. I don't typically have very high expectations for pet friendly rooms, but I did expect the room to be clean especially with COVID.

I was traveling through this area and some thunderstorms came up, so I decided to stop for the night. The hotel is several Traditional style buildings with grassy areas. Check in staff was very friendly and interested in my dog. A few minutes after settling in the room the front desk called to make sure everything was OK. They were very friendly and attentive. Good location close to town, fuel,, and restaurants. I went to the nearby Strasburg pizza for a sandwich and a slice.
