The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. The rooms were clean and quiet. Price was quite reasonable. The free breakfast provided many choices. Dinner was available as well but we arrived too late to partake. Would stay there again.

One night stay. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was not available due to chef calling in. I would say there was a artificial turf spot roughly 8’ x 8’ where dogs could relieve themselves, otherwise just pavement and landscaping. The room was carpeted which might pose a problem for some. I will probably stay elsewhere on my return trip in hopes of finding a hotel where I can walk more given I have a high energy dog.

Great breakfast, room was clean and king size bed very comfortable. Wish it had been closer to the highway but it was not so far that it was a big issue. Worth going!

The location was sketchy. There wasn't enough to do. Most restaurants nearby were closed for vacation.
The room wasn’t pretty at all. I don’t understand why there are still carpets in hotel rooms. I wouldn’t walk on it without slippers. The furniture had a lot of damage to it. My husband and I made sure to take pictures as soon as we walked in before they can blame our dog on anything. The beds were as hard as rocks. The breakfast was disgusting, so we didn’t utilize it for the rest of the trip. The eggs had to have been the lowest grade. We saw a woman get arrested outside our window. And why on earth is there still no cleaning service?! Enough already with Covid. Isn’t the point to be clean? We got 1 complimentary bottle of water, 1 (shrug) for 2 people.The 2 bones are for the employees at the hotel and the pool. Everyone was extremely nice and the pool was clean and refreshing. Franklin’s, a restaurant steps away, was absolutely delicious. Most of our meals were eaten there. They have a nice selection of cocktails as well. They gave us a huge piece of grilled chicken for our dog, which she had 3 times.

We highly recommend this hotel. It was a delightful stay from checking in to checking out! Chris, who checked us in could not have been nicer or more accommodating! He even gave our Zoey dog treats! The restaurant food was delicious! I had the best crab cakes I have ever eaten! And, Michael, the bartender went above and beyond to help us! The room was very clean and comfortable! We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

When you walk into this hotel you go back in time. It has been refurbished without updating the style. But don’t be fooled, the important things, TV, charging mobile devices are up to date. Clean & comfortable room and a great breakfast. Only 4 bones because the heating/AC unit was noisy. We turned it off to sleep. There’s a dog park about a 10 min drive away.

Everyone was very nice . Room was clean and in good repair. Restaurant in the hotel always a plus when traveling with pets. We were on the third floor so I got a bit of exercise on the stairs. Will stay again!

The room was comfy, the hotel offered a restaurant and room service, doggie treats presented to my pup upon check in, and a warm greeting from friendly staff after a very long day of driving! There is a tiny pet relief area located at the side of the hotel but sidewalks and grassy areas across the street are close by and convenient. Although there were some sketchy people loitering in the vicinity of the downtown hotel, there is also a police station nearby and I felt safe enough walking the dog across the street. Plus the historical architecture in the downtown area is really nice.

It was nice to actually stay in a hotel in the middle of a city that welcomes dogs. Simone, our receptionist, was attractive, friendly, and helpful in every way from check in to check out. Room was clean. Room service (her recommendation) was good. The only reason I rated 4 for pets was the scarcity of grassy areas. Would stay there again if we are ever in the area.

We booked our overnight stay through the BringFido app. Booking was smooth and easy. We were greeted by Chris (great personality) asked for a quiet room since were light sleepers. The room was perfect and we had a good nights sleep. Our girl even got a treat at check in 😊.

When I walked into the hotel, Shae greeted me right away, and called me by name!! Slow night, I guess - I must have been the only guest they were still waiting on - but it was a nice touch and made me feel very welcome. Additionally, the morning staff was courteous, and when they learned I had skipped the free breakfast because I didn't want to leave the pups alone, offered me water or orange juice for the road. I haven't stayed in a lot of hotels with my dogs, this is only the 2nd, but my male pup really wanted to mark the room because of other pee smells. I spent the first 1/2 hour running around saying "No!" He's never tried to do that inside a building before. This did not happen in the last hotel I booked through BringFido.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean. The dog walking area is the parking lot in the rear. Breakfast and its set up was very nice. The in town location was a little awkward for us but probably good for others.

Our dog was treated to royalty. She was given a treat bag and poop bags upon arrival. We utilized the house restaurant for dinner which was delivered to our room. The room was spacious with two excellent queen size beds with four pillows each. This was our best night stay over so far on a 3 week journey.

This was a late, overnight stay for us and we could not have asked for more. The rooms are clean and the to-go breakfast options were nice. It is near the highway for those looking to just stay and leave. There is not much of a grassy area for dogs, but you do get a really sweet bag with treats and waste bags upon check in.

The people here are incredibly nice. The location is right downtown in walking distance to many restaurants and Wilkes College. My son was playing basketball at the CYC right next door so it was very convenient for us. There is not much green space around the hotel for the dogs to relieve themselves, but it’s a very walkable area to take them out elsewhere.

We had to re-route our path around the metro tri-state area of NY, NJ and CT because of COVID-19 as we relocated from SC to Upstate NY. This hotel was a good stop in PA to keep us far enough west to keep traveling north and was very accommodating for us and our two furry kiddos!

Staff was very nice, everything was clean, bed comfy. They gave our doggies a welcome gift of poo bags and biscuits. However, the furnace was so freaking old and loud, it was impossible to sleep through the night.

I'm not entirely sure why I liked it as much as I did. A bit off I-81, confusion re the parking (a downtown hotel, so private on-site parking), directions unclear re where elevator was... BUT welcoming to the dogs, grassy area within a block (again, it's downtown) to let dogs do, excellent buffet breakfast and they were OK with "well behaved dogs" being in the room alone while I went to breakfast. And they put us at the end of a hall so not too much traffic to invite barking. I'd gladly go there again. (Plus nice Buddha and other spiritual statuary.)

Honestly we had a clean comfortable room and the people working there were nice enough. The biggest issue was with the teeny tiny astroturfed area provided for dog relief along the side of the building. There was honestly no good place to walk your dog on the property. We ordered food at the Oyster, a simple burger, that took 45 minutes for them to prepare and it was not very good, the French fries were greasy and soggy. I do not think I would ever go back there.
