Ansonborough Inn is the best place to stay in Charleston with your dog! They treated our Harper like royalty. It was a great experience! Will definitely stay there again with our dog!

Great location to explore the beautiful historic district of Charleston on foot. Staff welcomed our dog with treat bag and list of pet friendly places. Wine and cheese hour was great after a long day of driving. Beautiful room. Easy parking, and we could stay parked there during the day of checkout. Pet fee reasonable in comparison to other hotels in the historic district.

Everyone was happy to see our dog. The room was great & our dog was welcome to join us at breakfast and the wine and cheese hour. The location was good for us but there were few places near the hotel for dog relief.

Location is great for walking around Charleston and even though they are currently doing lobby construction, we found the hotel to be perfectly welcoming for us and our dog! Finn at the front desk gave excellent restaurant recommendations both nights we stayed there and it was exactly as described as opposed to so many places that seem to overpromise! We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay in Charleston more and would def go back if/when we swing through Charleston again!

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Ellie and Finn, our stay was fabulous. Hospitality plus at the Ansonborough. Such great amenities, (breakfast, wine and cheese in the afternoon, special gift for our puppy, Bella! Everyone was so pleasant, rooms clean and spacious plus a great location a few blocks from the market. The Ansonborough is very pet friendly!!

Great place to stay within walking distance of restaurants and waterfront park. Wonderful reception and greeting for my dog. Even a dog care package with portable water bowl when we arrived. Loved the dog portraits posted throughout the property and the rooftop deck had amazing sunset views. Would definitely come back!

Safe Stay: Ansonborough Inn has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Hand sanitizer is provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
