The hotel was fine but it isn't located in the best part of town. They appeared to have a very high homeless population in that area. While that in itself is sad, just be prepared to be panhandled repeatedly while trying to walk your pet on property. They also have a parking problem on site. You will most likely have to park in the parking deck across the street on the 3rd floor. That's not very convenient if you need a handicap parking spot. They only have 3 handicap spots on the property. Every spot on site fills up rather quickly. They have pet waste stands for walking the dogs but I stayed their on two different occasions 5 days apart and they never had any bags in any of the stands for pet waste pickup. In all fairness, I'm not sure if that is a hotel or a city government issue.

Hotel is very dog friendly. As far as the hotel itself, probably more like a 3 out of 5 rating. Typical for a Holiday Inn Express.

The staff were very welcoming to my pet and us, accommodating and helpful. The room was large, clean and comfortable. I liked the fact that we were near the elevator for easier access to outside and not having to walk down a hall where other pet families were so that we didn’t get their pups barking as we went in and out. Breakfast was nice, too.

A bit unfair to judge it - reopened after a year on the day we stayed. We were the second guests, so lots of things not yet working. WiFi (fixed after a few hours), TV not fixed. Toilet sort of OK but needed a part replaced. No garbage can in the bathroom. Kind of what you'd expect on Day 1. But everyone was very friendly and working hard.

The staff was super friendly and helpful and everyone loved Dax, our Frenchie, but the hotel location wasn’t as close as I would’ve liked to the downtown area. Hotel had great breakfast but the rooms could use a little updating but it was clean.

Room was very clean, staff was friendly and there was a nice area for dogs behind the hotel. Cons: AC was really loud in the room and the water pressure was very weak.

The staff of this hotel was great and friendly. The morning breakfast was good and we did not hear any animals barking from our room which was nice!

Kinda old and run down. In medical district so ambulances all night. Limited services in hotel. Only consolation...with a dog price was right
