  Great place, friendly staff

  Loved are first stay with our or dog. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly, and the dog was very happy with the room. He had no complaints.

  Surprisingly great!

  It was clean. Parking was right by door. Was surprised after reading some bad reviews. We had great experience with our 3 doggies. Easy check-in, nice simple breakfast.

  Easy access for pup

  King bed was clean and lots of pillows shower was nice and hot shampoo provided. Lots of covered area but not much grass. It was raining so the cover was helpful.

  Terrible room!

  We are not fancy people. We’ve been to many, MANY hotels with dogs and without. We do not expect much for a quick overnight stay. We arrived around 9pm and quickly found out you weren’t able to go into the lobby to check in. You speak through an outside window (btw it was pouring and cold) like a ticket booth. My husband saw a sign as he was checking in that they will not rent to people from certain counties in the area!?

  When we entered the room it was extremely dingy, very worn and tattered. Okay, for one night I thought we could deal. I walked into the bathroom (which was handicapped) and could not believe the deplorable condition it was in. The floor was absolutely disgusting, especially in the shower area! Mildew, mold….I didn’t even want to shower in it but after driving for 10 hours I desperately needed one. So I lined the floor inside and out with towels so my feet didn’t ever touch.

  Bed squeaked terribly. We brought in food and there were two chairs. One on wheels and the other like a sofa chair which was totally stained and gross. Again, I’m sure I sound snobby but I am in no way a snob especially when it comes to a quick stay. Good parts? Price was great (under $100) and dog fee was cheap, but now I know why. They do have a decent grassy area for your pup with bags and trash.
  Either way I’ve learned,; paying a bit more (even $25!) goes a long way! I will not choose this hotel ever again.

  Do not recommend!!

  Do not recommend. Would do 0/5 if possible. Door ajar—does not close or lock securely, odor of urine in bathroom. Shabby and not worth your or your pet’s safety. There is no obvious dog area.

  So-So

  The receptionist was cordial and took my word for how many dogs I had with me. Unfortunately, the room was definitely not four stars as it claimed; it was on the ground floor which was convenient to the tiny dog lawn, however there was a 1/2 inch gap around the door where you could see light and and people could look in. The light switch by the door did not work so you had to walk into a dark room to turn on the light. The floors were sticky and the toilet paper roll holder had been yanked out of the wall.

  Hotel is in rough shape. Chipped paint, AC/heat unit with loose parts and very noisy. They did have a dog park and that was a plus.

  Dog park is just grass with poop station. Updated rooms with very comfortable beds.

  It was awful!!

  The bed was so old, it was creaky! While the sheets appeared clean, there were obvious fluid stains on the bed spreads. The place smelled. The AC unit didn't work, thank God my husband fixed it. Their only saving grace was the people in the front office were very helpful and accommodating.

  Worst place ever!!!

  After standing in line outdoors (apparently, the guests aren't trusted to come inside the lobby after 9 PM) I was noticing that everyone in front of me was asking for their money back immediately after checking in. When I finally got my key, I found the room, door ajar, and dark. It looked like somebody was recently in, and the bathroom had clearly been recently used, with wet water remaining in the sink. The furniture looked well worn, and the room smelled like a mixture of old pizza and a cat litter box. I was tired enough to put up with it, and decided to get the bags from my car. That's when I found out it was impossible to lock the door -- the lock assembly was completely broken. I got back in line, behind other unsuspecting guests, and immediately got my money back, no questions. This place may be dog friendly, but it is beyond bad. You and Fido will be safer and happier in your car.

  Gross!!!

  I'm pretty there was blood on the curtain and the bedding. We had to strip down the bed and get new sheets. There were cigarette burns on the toilet. The in room phone didn't work, the tub didn't drain and it was all around filthy dirty. It was nice that it was pet friendly, and the staff was very kind but would have probably better to just sleep in the car.

  A little noisy

  Reserved this hotel for a pit stop while traveling to Florida. Room was fairly nice. And reasonable rate. Biggest issue we had was outside was very noisy with other tenants slamming their car doors and room doors, which caused my dog to bark and growl throughout the night.

  Gross

  This place is gross is an understatement. The ceiling is caving in and the smoke detector was hanging off the walls. The ladies at the desk are very nice but stop saying you provide dog bowls and its clean. It's actually disgusting and my smoke free room was smelly. Wouldn't stay there again and if I was Wyndham I would be embarrassed to have my brand attached to this place.

  Don’t bother stopping

  The place stunk like smoke and urine and not dog urine! The floors were gross and sticky! My husband’s eye actually swelled up from the grossness of the room! We tried to sleep and couldn’t so we left! GROSS!

  Good place to stop with your pad

  We found this hotel convenient to the highway. We liked that we could park right outside of our room. The room may not be the most elite of hotels but then again look at the price. We found the room to be comfortable and clean. The exterior of the hotel was well taken care of and clean. This was a great overnight stop on our trip. We felt safe.

  Easy on and off of 95. Vinyl plank floor just in case of accident. Nice area to let dogs do there business. Many good choices of food in area.

  Great for a basic pass through

  Clean enough. Easy check in. Good value. Thin walls so we listened to a less settled pup bark throughout the night and then listened to the pup’s people moving about and packing up very early in the morning. Mia at the front desk was super sweet, very friendly and incredibly attentive.

  It was ok, would give 2.5 rating

  Pros: cheap, no issues with check-in, cable tv, free wifi, free parking spot in front of your room for easy in/out, right off 95, plenty gas/food options nearby, grass area and bushes for dog to use bathroom, poo bag stations. Cons: the whole building, including the lobby, smells like cigarette smoke. The bedsheets were questionable on the cleanliness. You hear everything going on outside.

  The positive is that this Days Inn is right next to I-95, and has a large dog park. Unfortunately, the room we stayed in was outdated, needing general maintenance and not the cleanest. Dog fee of $10 is overkill considering state of room.

  Very inexpensive

  Stop on our way to Hatteras, NC. Great option for a bed and a place that takes dog with a crazy extra charge. Charge was only $10 per dog. Hotel was only $60 for the night. Total was $80 + tax. There are more expensive hotels that have more amenities next door. I was needing to save more since the house we rented was so expensive. I was happy to find a cheap hotel that was also dog friendly.

  A Dump

  I would not stay at a Days Inn again. The floor behind a chair in the corner was filthy, unswept (not only dust but a toothpick like the ones used to put an olive in a drink was on the floor too). The bathroom was clean but I was only given two hand towels and a washcloth. When I picked up the phone to call the front desk to ask for bath towels, the receiver was not connected--the plastic plug to connect the receiver was broken off. I was too tired to walk over to the front desk, so I got up, skipped the shower and ran out of there. I did stop in the lobby for coffee and the little bag of food they had packed for guests and they were both good, but by then it was too late for me!

  Nice room. Dog-friendly only in acceptance of dogs for a few.

  Room was what you would expect from a Days Inn, nothing more. They were dog-accepting, in that you can have a dog for a $25/night fee, not dog-friendly in any other way.

  Ok for a convenient stop with a dog off 95

  They said there would be a special concierge for my dog that would give me bowls.. etc. That never happened. My dog wasn’t even acknowledged with a treat or smile. It was very loud, it’s right off of 95 so if you just want a quick stop and don’t expect anything special then it’s fine. But you are in a motel room with a bunch of trucks laying on their horns all night...and there is no special dog concierge.

  Not the best

  To be fair I selected the least expensive offering in Florence for a quick overnight rest. The issue was that the check in clerk did not know how to use the credit card input. She kept saying "your card is declined" when I kept showing her the email from BringFido that said my card had already been billed. Eventually, the manager came and sorted it out but it took a while. Then we did not get the type of room we had selected but it was good enough and clean. It's not a very attractive-looking place and the breakfast baggie they give you is basically junk food.

  Total dump!

  Don’t ever even consider staying at this location. The room smelled musty, there were holes in the walls and ceiling and it wasn’t a clean environment. The towel racks were broken out of the wall and were hanging there. People were milling around the parking lot and using drugs. What a disaster.

  This was a typical Days Inn which was fine. My only complaint was that they say pet friendly but there is no place for your dog to "go" other than in the manicured garden out in front of the hotel! Seemed odd.

  Clean Room

  First floor room was very convenient for walking the dog. There is a large grassy area with poop bag stations. Decent breakfast bar included.

  Right off 95

  This was the perfect rest stop on our journey north. Located right off 95. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and updated. Not a full 5 because the dog park is just a grassy area and not fenced in.

  Noisy

  Stopped for some much needed rest on the way to FL and would have been better off driving through. Trains were passing across the street all night with their horns blasting. Guests outside in the lot as well as in their rooms were audible even at normal conversational volume. The walls were paper thin, there was no weather stripping around the door at all, we could see light all around it. The dogs could not settle down even with the in room air conditioning fan on high. We got no sleep and left exhausted in the morning. The train runs through a large group of hotels here, I don't that any of them would be any better. We'll avoid Florence next time for sure!
