So pleased they allowed a pet without having to put down a deposit. You could do certain paperwork to cover your pet's damage beforehand. But I have a little 10 lb dog and she is never any problem. But do not show up before 4pm or else you will get charged $25. I was 30 min early and just went out and sat in the car for 30 min.

We stayed for three nights with our two dogs and had an amazing time. We stayed in a suite on the first floor so it was easy to get in and out with the dogs. The room was clean with a fridge and microwave and there was plenty of room to spread out. The Red Roof was minutes away from a dog park and several dog friendly beaches. The employees were friendly and professional. It was really a perfect stay for our needs. We had a great time and will definitely stay here next time we visit :)

Hilton Head Island is beautiful and the area in HHI where the hotel is located is wonderful. However, the room was old and dirty in every way. We were only staying for one night on our way to NC so we stayed but if it was any longer we would have left.

Showed up very late nite. The website says 24 hours so i didn't call. When we got there, the desk girl had cancelled our reservation (for two nites). Even though the room was empty, she would not allow us to use it. At 3 AM we had no place to sleep!! they still charged me for the nite. Fido got me the refund for the 2nd nite only, and said I can call the manager, but isn't that Fido’s job?!? MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT in both Red Roof and Fido

My husband and I met on Hilton Head Island 8 plus years ago and many times stayed at this Red Roof. But I am going to say this was the worst experience ever. We were suppose to have a dog friendly room and was put on the second floor! This hotel was not booked as the General Manager said it was, because we were out walking the dogs and there was hardly any cars at 8:00 pm. There are no elevators and I had a senior dog! This is not dog friendly by my standard and it should not be yours either!!! The room was tiny and had the loudest air conditioner!!! Unfortunately we had no other option and had just driven 10 hours from Tennessee! I will never stay in a Red Roof Inn ever again!!! And BringFido might want to reconsider them!

Rooms smell musty and are very small. Front desk staff were friendly at check in. If you just want a place to sleep, it’s ok I guess but even in Hilton Head it’s way overpriced for what you get.

The price is low for this motel- basic room, no extras but with a door to the outside that is good for dogs especially on the first floor. Some leftover smoke smells and they are not so conscientious about masks.

As one of the cheaper options on the island, this is not a luxury hotel but it served the purpose just fine. the location is great because it's in the heart of it and only a short drive to everything on the island including the beach. The room itself was small and could definitely use some updating but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. the air conditioner and shower worked well. the pool was really nice and was never crowded even on the weekend. There is no outrageous pet fee like some places. I chose to stay here so I could spend more on other things. Our room did not smell and our pup was perfectly comfortable. I would stay there again.

We've stayed here before and it was wonderful but this time we changed to a new hotel nearby. The room was dirty, smelled bad, and wouldn't cool off. The person up front was great but she wasnt able to do much but try other rooms. The beds have gotten old and hard in all the rooms we looked at. Apparently the hotel has been under new management since last October and so anyone I mentioned to about the rooms, they said they've been hearing the same from others. It's such a shame because it's so beautiful and was one of the ways we could afford to go to Hilton Head Island. Now we may have to cut our vacation short because of the unplanned larger expense of staying elsewhere. Even my dog and cat were miserable at Red Roof Inn.

This place needs some TLC. The grounds are full of trash that no one seems inclined to pick up. The beds are not very comfortable. I have problems with my door not opening consistently. But it was cheap and you get what you pay for.

This used to be a good place to stay. This time it was not clean, the floors were filthy. It also says on BringFido you can have 2 pets but we were informed that they actually only take one when we checked in. Fortunately they didn’t turn us away after a three hour drive to get there.

Susan was very nice and friendly. She made dinner suggestions too! Too bad I didn't find Danielle at Stacks until the last day--- she works at RRI also--- those staying at RRI get a 10% discount at Stacks! Yummy food however not pet friendly facility.
When checking out, I had Chris, who was MIA for several minutes when I first came in. Then she was rude like I interrupted something. She was rude and unpleasant the entire conversation. RRI properties are hit or miss depending on whether they’re franchises or corporate owned. This property is one of the good ones!! Customer service was top notch! Danielle at the front desk was super helpful and the room was clean and up to date. It’s close to everything and super affordable. We travel often with our pup and stay in a lot if RRI properties because of their pet policies. Definitely a good choice.

Great staff, dog friendly, amazing price.. Just please don't leave your dog alone (it's policy) , especially if they are prone to anxiety (aka bark and whine). Don't ruin it for the rest of us ;)

Clean, simple, comfortable hotel with honest,friendly staff. Amazing value! Nearby public beaches, restaurants, and main thoroughfare, but quiet at the same time. Plenty of grassy, shaded areas to walk my pup...and a few steps away from the bike/walking path system Hilton Head is famous for. Wi-fi and everything else worked just fine. We will return time and time again. Special thanks to Chris, the manager, and Tameka at the front desk. Good good people!!6
