The room was a bit old but it didn’t smell like dogs, that’s always a plus. The staff were very friendly, there were different grassy areas to take your dogs to do their business one was close to the rock hills but it had sand burrs. The other places were in front of the hotel and by the road which was better, but there was deer waste so my dogs wanted to do you know what, so that was a bit of an issue. Otherwise it was a good place for them to go potty. The continental breakfast was pretty good; it looked like there were different breakfast for each day.

Staff super friendly and will make sure you get what you need. Close to so many things, makes day trips easy. Clean room and PET FRIENDLY!

Overall clean and nice room. No special pet area; they told us to go down the stairs to the front of the property. Had to supply my own bags but I came prepared.

Our room was nice, clean and I felt safe…all positive. Sadly, the pet side is in need of improvement. The walls are extremely thin and the location of our room although thoughtful on the hotels part meant that our dog heard the comings and going of countless people. There must have been a party somewhere because this went on very into the early morning hours. As a result our pup was very restless and could not settle down to sleep. Of course, we did not want her to bark at all the noises so we pretty much lost most of our night’s sleep keeping her calm. Our dog’s reactivity to sounds is our issue but the loud environment is theirs. The staff was very nice. I am sorry to leave negative comments.

This two-story hotel was a wonderful two day stop. No elevator so for dogs scared of elevators no worries. There is a green strip behind and in front of the hotel for walking and for those with dogs who need to walk, its an easy mile or two walk along the highway on a sidewalk into town. Close by is a dog- friendly barbecue restaurant which allows dogs on their outdoor patio. Staff was fantastic and welcoming.

My experience was great. The front desk clerk gave treats to the pups. There were quite a few dogs staying and everyone was considerate of each other. Clean room and great location.
