A charming hotel but since it is old, the rooms are very small and the washrooms are literally small closet size. We travel with a chocolate lab so it was a tight squeeze. But he was allowed in the pub area for dining so we are happy about that. In warm weather, he was allowed on the outdoor rooftop patio. Very much appreciated!!

The hotel is great. Nice rooms, awesome rooftop bar, etc. But, it's not a great place to stay with a dog. We were on the 8th floor, way at the end of the hall. There are 2 very small elevators that are always busy so you have to wait a while. Also, the closest patch of grass we could find for potty breaks was 4 city blocks away. Not at all convenient when you need to take your dog out to do its business. I would stay there again, but only if our dog wasn't with us.

Hotel staff were great, but rooms are small and I have large (165lb) dog. We were on 7th floor and there were two elevators that were busy.

I decided to book a room for this hotel on the BringFido website after calling a few times to the hotel directly and getting different rates each time, as well as speaking to a rude front desk employee. Otherwise this hotel is really cool. There is not too much grass around outside for dogs to potty, in case you have a pup like mine who is finicky.

You can't beat this hotel's location. It is a recently renovated classic (supposedly haunted) hotel right in the heart of down. It is easily walking distance to a bunch of dog friendly restaurants (our favorite was Murphey's). We were able to choose our room online and selected 306 which 1.) made it very easy to use the stairs and 2.) was very isolated (while the gym was across the hall, there was only one other room on this floor). It is a little more expensive then some other hotels, but the location downtown is definitely worth it. Pro tip: parking does cost money, but it you are there over the weekend, meter spots are free Friday after 6 PM through Monday morning. We found a spot right across the street.
