Stayed here one night on a cross country road trip. Room was clean but slight animal smell upon entering. Decent pet area but not gated. Good breakfast. One of the higher pet fees we encountered on our trip. Would stay here again.

Great location and price for what you get. My dogs received a big milk bone on arrival. Well done dog area with bags and disposal. However the neighboring houses both have outside dogs that are big. My dogs are still puppies and one of them was too nervous to do his business. We ended up walking back towards the Exxon station where there his a doggie area. Just and extra hassle.

I'm not fussy about amenities but they do offer breakfast, although I didn’t partake, so can't comment on it. Rooms are large enough and clean; cleanliness is what I care about most. Employees are VERY friendly! I highly recommend this motel!

The rooms are cozy and clean and the staff is super friendly. Breakfast was well stocked. Convenient to Wall Drug and Badlands. Would definitely stay here again.

Nicely located easy drive to Badlands National Park. Down the road is a nice little city park to let your dog run around.

Super close to the entrance to the Badlands National Park. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Pet relief area is a little off the beaten path behind the hotel but enclosed on three sides. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Perfect for a overnight stay! Definitely would stay again.

We recently drove across the country to Yellowstone and stayed here on our way back home. This motel had, by far, the best pet exercise area of any place we stayed. Poop bags, benches, shade and thick grass made it a nice place to wait for our dog to find the perfect spot to potty. We also received a large milkbone for our dog on check-in. The rooms are not extravagant, but they’re clean, comfortable and quiet.

We checked in about 10 PM as we were hitting lots of sites as we traveled. We had advised check in would be late and got a call, which was appreciated, to say front desk would shut down at 10:30. So we hustled and got there in time - likely we were last or near last to check in. Busy hotel. We were given an extra large dog biscuit for each dog and information on the designated dog exercise are which is small, but mostly fenced in and thoughtfully designed with some really nice touches. There is a pergola and a bench for humans (5 bones on this!). Waste disposal basket and waste bags right there. Room was comfortable and largish, but did have a subtle smell of damp. We were comfortable enough and grateful for the dog friendly touches and service. Toiletries are underwhelming (no conditioner), but they are there! Points for towel art on the part of housekeeping!

We had a great stay. Our room was very nice, clean and quiet. Despite having a large number of guests with dogs, there was no noise. They had a designated relief spot for the dogs and provided a milk bone for our pup on check in. My only slightly negative comment was a weak Wi-Fi signal. My guess is, with so many guests using the Wi-Fi in the evening, there was not enough “band width” to cover all of the users. Things were great in the morning. Not a big concern just an opportunity for improvement. Thanks for a great stay.
