This facility requires renovations, badly. The carpet in the hallway was very worn! As we entered the room (223), the entry area narrowed and the door hit the wall, there were 2 queen beds and 1 lounge chair. The chair was more comfortable to sleep in than the bed. The cable TV was as though it was being fed via an antenna. There was mildew on the wall in the bathroom

We have stayed at Comfort Inn Suites previously and enjoyed our stay with our dog. The water pipes burst from freezing temperatures over Christmas causing multiple problems. BringFido worked with Comfort Inn for resolution. I will continue to use BringFido in my future travels.

Dated and not very clean. Breakfast had a lot of options, but all carbs. There was grass for the dog though.

You get what you pay for. This hotel was pretty gross. We picked it for low pet fee, but would not stay here again. Very disorganized staff at desk also gave people ahead of us an occupied room. Clean it up Comfort Inn!

It was easy to bring our dog here.Plenty of outdoor space.Great place for dogs.Ok place for humans. Room was fine,breakfast was virtually nonexistent. Hot food areas were empty at 7:30 on a weekday morning.

$30 per night pet fee that was also subject to being taxed. Outrageous fee! This place needs some serious updates. I’d say the best way to describe it is shabby. However, all the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good. The woman taking care of the breakfast bar worked hard to keep it clean and stocked. She was very sweet. I feel that the place was clean and the linens in good shape. The grounds around the building as I walked my dog had a lot of trash. Also people didn’t pick up after their dogs. Not the fault of the property. The landscaping needed help though I see they were making an effort to improve the shrubs and growing new grass.

Retired people living in the northern midwest frequently take extended winter vacations along the Gulf of Mexico, often too long to board Fido back up north. Since US airlines have a well earned reputation for treating passengers, especially canine passengers, badly, snowbirds frequently drive south with their pets, often along the I39/I65 corridor. This corridor, a relatively comfortable 500 miles a day for three days, passes through Nashville, a formidable barrier with massive traffic congestion five days a week. Franklin, once a small town of great Civil War interest, is now a pleasant suburb south of (i.e., beyond) Nashville, a good place to take off from for the final stretch of the Wisconsin to Gulf of Mexico run. It also has, we are told, 65 dog friendly establishments. We chose the Franklin Comfort Inn and the nearby Freedom Run Dog Park and were happy with both. Pleasant, well maintained, no problems, really dog friendly, everything we needed to enjoy an evening with an active, social two year old Shelty who travels best the day after the kind of vigorous evening herding animals enjoy. Modest price, good accommodations close to an above average dog park, good breakfast, easy on/off the corridor. We plan to use the same facilities on our next extended winter vacation along the Gulf.

Enjoyed clean room and comfortable bed as well as gym area and pool. Our dog seemed to enjoy the grassy area around the motel and slept well.
