    Great Rooms Slow Elevators

    Everything was perfect with the exception of the elevator. Long waits, and only 1 elevator per side of the hotel which was constantly being used by cleaning staff. The clean room and amazing breakfast made up for this though. Would stay here again for sure. My dog enjoyed it and the stadium parking lot across the street had plenty of room for sniffing around and exploring!

    Never again

    Dogs were treated fine… yet the hotel was tired, in need of updating. Stained carpet, strong dirty (urine?) smell, torn curtains, ceiling had water damage throughout, shower faucet only had partial water flowing (rest went into tub) sink faucet sprayed all over, lights from outside parking lot weren’t covered fully by curtains, stained carpets, art on walls was cheap and in style in 1970 in a grandma's house. All for $250!!!! Worst La Quinta we’ve stayed in.

    Hotel was very over priced for what it was. Carpet coming lifting damaged furniture. Not very clean. Some guy was hanging around the front desk for hours while guests including me were checking in. Not cool.

    Room was very clean and check-in was easy. Would definitely stay there again.

    Comfortable mattress

    This was by far the most comfortable bed I slept in all vacation. The hotel has a bit of cosmetic damage, but it was clean and comfortable. There are sidewalks nearby, allowing you to get a nice, long walk in. Fast food and restaurants are close by.

    Needs renovation

    The hotel needs renovation. Interior could use more cleaning. The bed was comfortable. Located adjacent to Cracker Barrel. Small area to walk pets. Free breakfast with limited items. Indoor swimming pool was nice.

    Filthy dirty hotel

    The rooms and entire facility were filthy. Booked for 4 nights and left the next day after one night. Never again!

    Very Disappointed for a La Quinta

    We have stayed at many La Quintas and the brand normally means quality and consistency in a dog-friendly hotel. This place is a DUMP. The rooms are filthy, dirty carpeting, mildew on the shower curtain, no shampoo/lotion, 2 towels one hand towel and one washcloth in the bathroom and the rooms haven't been updated in this century. The hallways are dirty, boxes and used motor oil stacked against the wall and the place had an acrid smell throughout. The freeway noise was pretty bad, the A/C was very loud and when my wife went out to potty the dog, a homeless guy came out of the bushes. We had booked the place online for 4 nights, but changed it to one night when we got there and had it not been a late arrival, would have left immediately. I guess the low nightly rate should have been an indicator, but I would not stay here if you had a choice. It's really a bottom of the barrel place to stay.

    Good location, needs work

    The hotel willingly accepts my 2 little dogs. Great. Price was low.
    Great. But the parking lot needs resurfacing badly. The grass areas are at least 6" high, too high for my dogs. So I have to walk them on the sidewalk next door (private business) or across the street (another hotel). Also, only 1 ice machine on the 3rd floor. Also, internet said breakfast included. Not so. Still shut down bc of Covid, I guess. I just wanted oatmeal or yogurt or an apple. All could be eaten in my room. Also, no pool (Covid again). No daily housekeeping either, which I prefer anyhow.

    Just ok

    The place is very rundown. We got a suite. While it was spacious, the furnishings were awful. All scratched up and falling apart. The sofa and easy chair actually groaned when you sat on them. When I moved the mattress it looked like the floor hadn’t been vacuumed up against the wall in a long time. There was also a huge bloodstain on the box spring sheet, gross!! No breakfast at all because of Covid. Not even a sack breakfast which some of the La Quintas have. Give it a pass.

    This place was an absolute dump. Smelled like smoke. Refrigerator didn't work, had to be replaced. Entered room without us being there. Carpet was filthy. Curtains were torn & had lipstick on the sheers. Tub didn't drain, so you stood in water while showering. Beds were horrible. Furniture was deplorable. Front desk employees were rude & showed complete lack of professionalism. If you're looking for a "dump", then this is the place for you. We left a day earlier then planned. If I could rate lower I would give it a negative 100!!!

    Big dog acceptance

    They were pleased to see how well behaved and chilled my GSD was. Very enjoyable stay. The Liberty Dog Park was only a couple miles away and it was very nice. To say that my dog’s feet were clean as a whistle after a hard rain was a shock. They do it right. There was an abundance of black mulch to cover the ground. Very pleased.

    Terrible hotel.

    Dirty hotel. It’s really gone downhill with housekeeping. I’m glad I bring my own sheets and towels. The bedspread had urine stains on it as well as the sheets. Bathtub wasn’t even cleaned. I don’t complete reviews unless the place is great or is horrible. This hotel should really take notice with housekeeping. Especially with COVID. It’s awful. Won’t stay there anymore.

    i like that it was in a central location from the city and country. yes its next to the freeway but it didn't bother us.

    Very loud!

    While the hotel staff was very nice and the room was fine for a dog, the location and other guests were so loud that poor Fran couldn’t get settled. Tons of traffic noises, doors opening and closing all night and footsteps in the hall!

    The place was dirty and terribly smelly. My room smelled like cat pee. And the carpets were horrendous. The bathroom floor tile was sticky. The room temp could not be controlled in the room . My asthma flared so I didn’t get much sleep . Go elsewhere

    I was surprised and not in a good way

    I have always trusted the BringFido hotels, but this was a BIG miss. It was dog friendly but it was not a very clean hotel. Also, it smelled like a kennel. Most of all the other I have stayed have been clean with no smell. The carpet was filthy. I will not return. ☹☹☹☹

    We had a good experience

    The location was close to the highway, lots of green areas to walk our dog around the building. The room was outdated but sheets and bathroom was clean. They had a nice armchair where we put our dogs blanket so he didn't have to sleep on the floor. We only stopped for one night to get some rest and it was just what we needed.

    Good location to highway

    I was prepared to give this La Quinta a good review as we have stayed at others that were more than fine. Unfortunately just as we were getting ready to leave this morning a mouse squeezed under our door from the hallway and got into our room. Needless, to say I’m glad we were checking out.

    Great Price And Location

    The place is clean and friendly. We were on a second floor, and our dog was not fond of the elevator, but was fine. There was a receptacle for dog waste and bags were available although we had our own. Some people did not clean up after their dogs in one back area, which was disappointing, but not the hotel’s fault. We would stay there again.

    big doggy dog.

    I liked it. I have a big dog- pit bull. Worked great. Hotel was a little older. Parking lot needs work. But lots of potty areas. Clean inside. Great staff. Great breakfast.

    This place is fine. Like said in other reviews, it is old and the carpets are stained. The shower head is far from great, but there wasn’t a shortage of hot water. A major strike against them in my book is that few places deliver to the hotel. This may not matter to some, but for me it was an inconvenience after a long day on the road. So between that and the mediocre shower head I am not sure if I’ll be back, but it did suffice for a night.

    works in a pinch

    Price was reasonable for a king room, staff was helpful and the site was convenient to highway, restaurants, downtown, etc. But the property overlooks I-65 from a bluff that channels noise into one side of the hotel making for restless nights. Non-highway side was more peaceful but the new room had an Ac unit that had soaked the carpet nearby with mustiness that goes with the condition. Could have been better but hotel will work in a pinch.

    Good Pet-Friendly Hotel

    With any pet-friendly hotel, I know that it is pretty unrealistic to reserve a high-end hotel room. However, this hotel is great and I recommend it for those traveling with their pets! Despite the floors looking a little dirty, everything else was clean, the staff was nice, and the free breakfast was actually pretty decent.

    very dog friendly hotel

    Front desk was very welcoming and friendly to our two golden retrievers. Hotel is right off the highway and has lots of nearby restaurants. There is also a decent area of grass and sidewalks for a short walk to let your dog out potty
