    Worst Hotel! Black mold everywhere!

    When we were road-tripping through Goodletsville. We decided to stay at the La Quinta Inn reserving two rooms, one for my husband, I and our baby and the other for my parents. Right from the start we were given rooms where there was moisture and humidity. We took a closer look and realized that the hotel must have had a flood. Black mold on the ceiling over the air conditioning units upstairs. The black mold stains started the above window expanding throughout entire room and above our bed. Black mold was present in tile and grouting on walls in the room and the bathrooms creating a terrible health hazard!

    The floors and tile floor were unfinished with raw sharp subfloors exposed!! Black mold was present on the subfloor. We were told by management that they ran out of tile. This was clearly NOT true as the old flooring was still grouted mixed with new tile flooring and exposed molded subfloor! We were also told that management had to check rooms at night to make sure the homeless did not come in!! They tried to mover the black mold on the ceiling by painting it, yet we were told by management that it just appeared - That does NOT just appear!! Someone even scratched up the tv in the room and the hotel used a black marker to fill it in!!! Paint peeling off the doors, walls chipping... horrible conditions!!!!

    Nevertheless, management changed my mothers and fathers room to another which was just as bad! My family continued to stay in our room with the dangerous black mold exposed to my husband who has terrible allergies and to my baby!! Very unsettling!! I called the next day and asked to speak to manager which I was put on hold for an hour after being told six different managers names of that location by customer care who forwarded me to the actual hotel in Goodlettsville, TN who hung up on me twice. The following morning we spoke to manager (2 days later) who said she and owner would get back to us but still hasn't called. $175 for 2 rooms=$350 for black mold and filth!!! I will never stay in a Wyndham hotel again. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Management makes excuse after excuse and does NOT return calls!!

    Very Clean

    Great location, very clean large room. You would never know it was a pet-friendly room. Great price for a holiday weekend, located about 15 minutes from Downtown Nashville.

    Great Stay

    Great location next to the highway. Hotel in the middle of renovations -- only 1 working elevator and 1 working ice machine. Otherwise, great stay.

    This place was very kind and they have everything for your furry friend. I recommend staying here. Not too far from Nashville either.

    An ok place for an overnight stay

    Our room was on the 2nd floor. Our bed was super comfortable. The furniture and carpet had a lot of stains. Both smoke alarms were inoperable and dangling from the ceiling.

    Dirty as heck, cockroaches included

    We booked our stay at the La Quinta inn and suites in Goodlettsville Tennessee with the assumption that this hotel had great reviews. Boy was that wrong. When we first got there we noticed stains all over the couches and floors, scratches on the walls, sticky substance is on the desk and chair. Dried up urine on the wall in the bathroom, black mold on the ceiling, and for the icing on the cake, I found a cockroach in the kitchen in the drawer. Under the sink there was a lot of water damage that had been dried for a while. Also you can hear people walking above you and every step they took you can hear the chandelier shaking. We got there so late at night that we stayed one night and canceled the rest of our reservations and had to scramble and find another place to stay. I would not recommend staying there to anybody. Run!

    Comfy and Pup-Friendly

    Just a quick place to rest for the night, just passing through (traveling from Texas to West Virginia) and it was perfect for us! Very pooch-friendly: plenty of grassy areas, non-carpeted flooring…comfy beds and free breakfast (food was “meh”, but it’s free…who complains about FREE food?) Overall, JUST RIGHT for myself, hubby and our 60# Labradoodle! Booking directly from the BringFido app made it seamless! ❤️🐾

    Nice hotel

    They waived the fee if I signed up for their hotel program. The bathroom was super tiny and had really bad mold spores all over the bathroom but other than that the area was nice and I loved the fact that the room wasn’t carpeted! The dogs enjoyed the cold floor.

    Good location, nice room

    Nice hotel, clean room. Someone's dog pooped in the hotel hallway and didn't pick it up and when my husband let the front desk know,. It was a couple hours before it got cleaned up.

    Best in Nashville

    I have stayed in the eastern part before, but needed to go north on 65 the next morning. This place was convenient, modern, and clean. Good dog walking, hot breakfast. And next door to a nice restaurant. We’ll be back.

    Totally dog friendly, but...............

    For the $ I felt like we could have done better. An older hotel with a bit of a face lift, but it shows through. All good from the pup perspective. TIP: go to the dog park (or just walk around ) Moss Wright park just a short drive. Perhaps the nicest multi use park I've ever seen. Lots of grass (outside of the fenced dog park) for Fido

    Awesome location

    My boyfriend, dog, and I stayed here for a night before a tournament and was very pleasantly surprised by how clean the hotel was for a pet hotel! The concierge was kind and gave our pup some treats before we got to the room, which was clean and very put together for our needs. My only complaint were that some of the other guests were too loud and rowdy late at night, otherwise the stay was great.

    Decent Stay

    The pet friendly rooms are not carpeted. Overall, the room was decent and clean. The hotel was pretty crowded and noisy from room to room, which alerted my dogs every time a door slammed. Due to COVID, the free breakfast comes in a paper sack with yogurt, orange juice, small clementine, and muffin. If your pooches prefer to do their "business" on grass, there is an area off to the side of the hotel, beyond the parking lot.

    one night stay

    The Hotel was clean, the room was in the first floor, no carpet, which I liked. The front of the hotel has a good grass area, not fenced, but good enough to walk around with the doggies.

    Excellent stay

    This hotel was in an easy on and off location. The front desk staff were very helpful. The room was clean and large in size which allowed our dog plenty of room.

    Great location to city and super big dog friendly!

    Had the best stay here for 4 nights! Went into the city every night. First vacation with our two boys and they did great! Veryyy dog friendly. Quiet floor with space between rooms. Plenty of areas to walk dogs. Laundry on floor. Water bottle filling station. Staff was very kind and the breakfast was amazing and was tended to so well. We had a great stay! Definitely will recommend and stay again!

    Great Stay

    We enjoyed our stay. It was very dog friendly and there were lots of big dogs. It was not the cleanest, but it was ok. Breakfast was not great. We got breakfast outside the hotel. The eggs tasted bad and they would run out of muffins and not replace them. The peanut butter was a brand I never heard of and was runny and tasted awful. For the price and location it was all good though. It’s hard to find places that allow Mastiffs and they did. They even had these yellow ribbons that you could put on your dogs collar if they were not to be approached.

    La Quinta Goodlettsville has it figured out!

    Great experience with my dog. Hotel was great, love the nicely lit areas around the hotel, bench and dog waste bags. I will definitely stay again, and recommend this to my dog lover friends.

    Great stay!

    Super pet friendly and a great location right off the interstate. The check in process is super easy and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than most hotels offer for free (eggs, sausage, biscuit, gravy, pastries, breads/bagels, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and waffles). The hotel is clean and there are areas to walk your fur babies. Would definitely stay here again.

    Decent stay with big dog

    No complaints. Everything went fine, though some work on a room across the hall very early in the morning cost us some sleep (our dog knew she wasn’t to bark but she kept whining and growling under her breath at the noises)

    Great Room

    Like the fact that the room had tile throughout. Don’t have to worry about prior scents, etc. They still need to mark the step going out to the lot on the first floor. Even though I’d read a review mentioning it, I still almost tripped off the step. Staff was very friendly.

    excellent stay

    The hotel staff were very accommodating and personable coming and leaving. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the Mexican restaurant in front of the hotel had some delicious food. There was a little road noise on the north side of the hotel but we slept well. Overall, it was an excellent overnight stay. We will come back.

    what we expected

    Our family of 5 plus lab stayed in a 2 queen room (brought a blow up twin). It was a small room, tight fit, but we were all comfortable. The room was warm- ended up putting AC on in Dec. the elevator was pretty crappy, breakfast was fine for the kids - worked ok for me with an English muffin and banana - can’t mess that up :). Needed extra towels/blanket that front desk brought up. Good grassy area with poo bags available.
