We were assigned a room and discovered that it was not cleaned since the last visitor: towels on the floor, beds not made, etc. After complaining, we assigned to another room across the hall. The heater was a bit noisy, but it had been a long drive and we wanted to settle in. Around 2AM we discovered that the heater had quit and the room was frigid. I dressed and went to let the staff know. The clerk advised to unplug the unit, wait a few minutes and plug it back in. I did this to no avail. We were assigned to a third room in the wee hours of the morning. We’ll never go back to that place!

The rooms were quiet but out of date. There was a very strong perfume odor in the room that caused me to take an allergy pill so that I could tolerate the smell. The bed was comfy but the bathroom was awful. There was mold on the caulk around the tub and drain. There was a cushy no slip pad on the tub/shower floor but it made the surface unstable and caused me to become off balanced. I nearly fell out of the tub backward. I also worried about getting athlete's foot from the previous person who had rented the room because it didn’t look like the surface could be scrubbed that clean. The towels were so scratchy that you could sand a deck with them. We won’t be coming back for another stay. That’s a thank you but no thanks on my list.
