      Ghetto Memphis

      The price here doesn't justify that the whole area there was completely ghetto. We would never stay in Memphis again, what a bad town. We also had an issue getting the A/C to work on check-in. Got it going but it was a bit time consuming and frustrating when we were very tired. The room was not bad but based on the area and price for this Motel 6. I would not recommend.

      Bare Bones

      We were allowed to bring a big dog, which is a plus. The fact that there wasn’t a Kleenex box to be found, or any kind of blanket was disappointing. Cheap and clean. If you’re a night owl, you can step outside in the well secured parking lot and see the FedEx planes landing—pretty much starts at midnight. The proximity to the airport will let you read their tail numbers! Interesting stay.
