- ClaudiaJul 17, 2024Nice but construction
The hotel itself is nice and pretty clean, however there is a ton of construction going on across the street so it is quite loud. Some of the staff is very nice and others are not, a little hit or miss. The breakfast is just bagels/pastries and some fruit and cereal. Our dog and baby had a fine time but if your dog isn’t okay with peeing on concrete, wouldn’t recommend staying here.
- SteveApr 1, 2024It’s a nice hotel
Everyone was very friendly and the place was updated well. It’s just the “dog area” is super small and not gated. It’s just a patch of grass in front the hotel next to street, meant for tiny purse dogs, not medium size or larger. Also, as others mentioned, the parking is only valet and pretty much everything surrounding the hotel is paid parking lots thru apps. No street parking close by.
- AllyneDec 29, 2023Great location
Super close to everything you need. Small dog area but very accommodating. Loved our stay here.
- KatelynnMar 7, 2022Nice accommodations, small dog area
Pros: dog friendly, nice accommodations, nice staff, bar on site. Cons: *really* small dog area (but there are more grassy areas across the sleepy street in front of businesses), valet parking @ $40/night (but again, street is sleepy, so park yourself), breakfast was all pre-packaged. Decent stay but kind of expensive for what it was. Try to park on the street vs use the valet to help save some money. The area felt secure and safe, the king room was big, lighting in the bathroom was ‘meh,’ and breakfast left a bit to be desired. Nashville has some great dog parks though; we went to the one at the Gulch which has free parking nearby for the first hour, benches outside of the play area, and insanely cute murals with locals coming and going about the day. It also has a big and little dog park.
- SherylFeb 6, 2022Great experience
Was able to get an early check in. Would stay again and recommend highly.
- KellyMar 23, 2021Clean, low pet fee
This hotel was very clean and offered a great value for the price. The location was good, near Vanderbilt. The parking and pet fee were cheaper than other hotels in the area. There’s a small pet relief area out front.
- JohnJan 15, 2021Super pet friendly....
Great pet friendly hotel...pleasant staff...parking separate from hotel but covered...highly recommended.
- JaneDec 31, 2020Very nice
While they did not make pets all that welcome, there were no challenges to our stay. (No surprise fees, thank you... $40/stay as noted.) Not a lot of grass or trash receptacles around, but it was sufficient. The hotel was very clean and up-to-date. We opted to stay here again on our way back.

LOVED this hotel! Updated modern rooms, little grass/dog area out front (at the entrance), close to downtown Nashville and in walking distance to the city. My favorite part was how clean our room was. I’m a germaphobe but this one was super clean. Sheets and towels were clean as well. Two cons- the parking is in a parking garage that is $10 a day, and the steps to get from your parking garage level back inside to the hotel are kind of dirty and the second (not really a con) is they don’t have a hot breakfast cause of Covid, they still provide bagged breakfasts (muffin, OJ and an apple), which we really appreciated! All in all this was a great stay for us and my ten year old beagle was very comfortable and happy!!
- BrynnMar 4, 2020Lovely staff
Great hotel with lovely staff! Small grass area and not much grass within the block of the hotel but we made it work.
- AlisonFeb 22, 2020Awesome hotel
Super clean. Super pet friendly. Awesome staff. Close to great restaurants!!
- RitaFeb 5, 2020Fantastic service
The staff was so wonderful! We will be back!
- ErinFeb 4, 2020Great hotel experience
Spent one night in Nashville as our 1st stop from MD to NV. Valet was so extremely helpful when we pulled in. Even got us carts while we held our dog and unloaded to car. A little dog area was available right in front of the hotel. Harris was welcomed by all of the staff and able to go in all areas of the hotel. We were in walking distance from restaurants and we were able get takeout to eat in the room. Nice to be able to walk around with Harris after a long drive. Comfy bed, clean hotel. Great stay overall.
- VanessaJan 30, 2020Great Stay
We were traveling cross country with Bonnie the Beagle and knew nothing about where to stay. Bonnie was warmly welcomed as were we. Comfortable and clean, staff was amazing. Walking distance to Broadway for dinner. Bonnie was welcome in the lobby for breakfast.
- LeslieJan 27, 2020Clean rooms, friendly staff
We stayed one night at The Hayes Street Hotel and had a clean, quiet room at the end of the hall. The bartender was very friendly and welcoming and enjoyed interacting with our two dogs. We walked across the street to find green space for the dogs which worked fine.
On the negative side, the parking attendant was so busy staring at her phone, the following morning, she didn't even acknowledge us or notice that we were trying to find someone to bring our car around. We finally had to ask for help at the front desk. She was unprofessional and not very helpful even after we got her attention.
All in all, we would stay here again. - RebeccaJan 20, 2020Guest Review
This hotel seems nice and like it could have been a good option for us. We chose it specifically because of the good reviews regarding allowing dogs in the bar area and breakfast area. However, when we arrived, they were remodeling the entire area and the bar was closed. Thus, the only place to sit with the dogs was on the outside patio. Had we been informed on this from their website, we could have made other arrangments. The hotel staff also did not seem concerned about the inconvenience. Once this is completed, it might be a nice stay and improvement. However, we were not too impressed with the staff's solutions or handling of the situation.
- KathyOct 17, 2019Great dog friendly hotel
I recently spent 4 days here and loved the friendly staff. My dog was welcome anywhere in the hotel, including the lobby and bar area with breakfast. Also able to ask front desk staff when you wanted the room cleaned so you could have your dog with you and they accommodated us every time. Beautiful room and close to everything in the area. They were very helpful in getting our car in and out of parking whenever we asked. I would stay there again!
- MichelleSep 30, 2019Cute, clean, great location, and all about the pets
This is a fantastic pet friendly hotel. The staff were all about our 2 dogs. Dogs could even hang with us at the bar while we ate a bite and had a drink. We didn’t have to lock them up in the room after a 13 hour drive in the car, Highly recommend!
- DavidJul 12, 2019Great Hotel
Excellent service friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast bar and room service. Nice quiet and safe home feeling hotel close restaurant and stores. We will be staying again if we are in the area.
- MjJul 12, 2019The Best Dog Welcoming/ Friendly Hotel
In such a special city this Hotel doesn’t get the recognition it deserves as pet friendly. This was by far the warmest welcoming hotel for pooches ! The atmosphere is Calming, Clean and Chic, all of the staff are positive and friendly and for dogs that’s a great combination. I can not stress how Clean ! Dogs are welcome to hangout everywhere with there owners and the vibe of this hotel creates a wonderful balance for dogs and their people. Also there is a wonderful silent respect of the Pups, not too much attention to create stress, definitely a staff that knows how to respect animals and follow body language which was great to see !
- JanáJan 2, 2019Great stay
We only stayed for one night...but it was a great stay. Very walkable area, with a lot of dining nearby. Staff was friendly, and our dog was welcome throughout the hotel. Would absolutely stay again.
- DebbieMore than a year agogreat visit
Staff was very friendly. Location was good. Easy to get to Broadway by LYft but not right in the middle of things. Several guests had dogs while we were there. Nice outdoor patio where we could sit with her. Dogs also welcome in the bar area. Would stay there again.
- Dashun monkMore than a year agoVery Nice Place
I was in town for a couple of nights and found this place. The staff was very friendly and accommodated my 165lb Mastiff, I was even able to take him to the bar in the lobby. Great location and very nice rooms. My only complaint is you have to valet park for $22/night and the only grass is across the street. I would definitely stay here again.
- HaleyMore than a year agoBest Hotel Experience with Dog
The hotel is extremely dog friendly. The staff is great and upgraded us to a larger room free of charge so our large pup could have a couch to sleep on. We often leashed our dog to the bar and had a drink which allowed her to also socialize with guests. Great hotel!
