Reviews
- ElizabethJan. 30, 2023Great location
Close to I 40. Comfortable room. Walking distance to good eats. Parking is a little weird. Look for the valet.
- AngelaDec. 7, 2022Very friendly!
It was a nice hotel. The lady working the front desk was very nice and helpful!
- KyleAug. 18, 2022Nowhere for dogs to pee
Nowhere for dogs to do business. Had to go across the street (in not the best area) for a little tiny strip of grass. Rooms were not fantastic. Would not stay again, would no recommend
- CodyJul. 9, 2022Friendly staff
Our AC went out with no one to fix it overnight, so it was a last minute booking. So glad we stayed here. Staff was very friendly to our pup (lots of treats offered) and AC was super cold!
- BarbaraJul. 6, 2022Great stay!
Great accommodations.
- JerryJun. 2, 2022Great Location
Great value, music venue in the bar and many restaurants nearby.
- LeslieMay. 11, 2022Aloft Nashville West End
Great location close to trolley stop, bars and restaurants. Front desk staff friendly. Good music in lobby. Rooms were poorly lit and could have been cleaner. Not much green space for dogs to use for potty area. Would definitely go again.
- MelissaMar. 15, 2022Worked out great for us!
We almost didn’t stay (although Aloft is our go-to pet friendly hotel) due to the bad reviews. Husband even went to the room before checking in. Pros- clean, comfortable, very large room - ask for end rooms like 601, great location- took pup on a walk around Vanderbilt campus, lots of restaurant options, friendly valet and front desk experiences, grassy strips surrounding hotel ( take your own baggies or get a baggie by the garage), refrigerator for dog food, comfortable bed/ pillows, walls of windows. Cons: older building, $34 parking w/ valet, awkward entrance from garage. Do NOT miss Parlor Donuts directly across the street!!!
- JosiahFeb. 27, 2022Friendly staff!
The hotel was nice and in a great location. Not really anywhere to take your dog to the bathroom though without a good walk. And no poo bag trash area like all the other hotels we stayed at on our road trip, so you need to find a trash can to put it in. And, since the hotel is pretty tall, if your dog has issues holding their bladder/bowels, that can prove tough with a long elevator ride. My pup was fine in that regard from the 10th floor, but if it's an issue for you, it could be a problem. I'm sure the staff could move you though if there's availability! They were really lovely and very dog loving! All the above being said, I would still stay here again if I wanted to stay downtown! And Parlor Doughnuts across the road is AMAZING!
- ZachFeb. 20, 2022Very good value!
Friendly staff, clean, spacious and quiet room. Everything one can ask.
- LyleFeb. 4, 2022Great place to stay with Fido
Room and staff were great. I don’t think my pup ever had so many treats.
- SarahDec. 15, 2021Difficult with 2 pups
There not a great place to let the pups out and it’s kind of an ordeal getting out of the hotel to do so. Definitely wouldn’t be my first choice when traveling with pups. Other than that the hotel was nice/clean/in a good spot.
- MaryNov. 30, 2021Friendly Staff!
We were greeted with treats, toys, and smiles! Makes the difference when traveling with your fur family. Room size was large and accommodating with a great view of the city.
- JulieAug. 11, 2021Great staff
Appreciative to the staff. Kim at the front desk! The bartender with the extra puppy treats. Tonia who fixed our IT problems and had the TV/internet fixed so they could watch their shows.
- BradleyJun. 20, 2021Great spot when in Nashville
Great location and was treated well by staff.
- JessicaApr. 14, 2021So so
Staff was not that friendly. The hotel was kind of grungy and dirty. Also, the worst was there was only one small bush area for my dog to go. There is no “ grass” it’s dirt with plans in front of a bank with a “ no pets” sign on it. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone with pets.
- MarysusanFeb. 24, 2021Nice location
Clean and spacious. Stayed 4 nights and would stay again. About a mile from downtown. Only complaint is that it took forever to get hot water to 5th floor. Hard to believe a modern hotel has this issue.
- TeganDec. 13, 2020The Hotel Isn’t Amazing, But The Pet Policy Is
The hotel has clearly seen some Nashville party nights - but props in that there is no pet fee, and our room (we were upgraded to a suite when we claimed pets) was large, comfortable and clean. Although it is a little maze like to get from the parking garage to the rooms, the availability of off street parking was a plus.
- JoelDec. 2, 2020Very nice
Quiet. The only issue is there no areas for dogs near the hotel
- LouiseOct. 26, 2020Friendly staff!
Staff were friendly. Hotel was clean and following covid guidelines
- SeanOct. 13, 2020Great Location For Dogs In Nashville
Our room was clean and very spacious. The dog was very comfortable here. the rooms are quiet so the dog felt at ease. Great value for the price.
- KarraAug. 16, 2020Not great.
Room was rundown, very dark and not clean, which was disappointing given they are advertising enhanced cleaning for COVID. Booked a king room, but was not given one. Lock on door was broken. Was very noisy, carpet was stained and there was garbage in the halls. Not impressed for a Marriott affiliate.
- StevenAug. 12, 2020Great location
Great location, grassy area across the street. Spacious rooms and no issues with my two baby chihuahuas
- GregJul. 26, 2020Good not Great
Room was clean but have to navigate stairs from parking deck. I would grade it a 3 star max. Seems like is under some construction and not attractive from the road. Good location. Very good about pets.
- RyanJan. 28, 2020Hotel was eh
I’ve stayed at many alofts this one was eh.. no where to take your dog for one. Room was clean sort of.. bed linens clean, but cut toenails on the floor. Plus parking was $30 a night. Tvs didn’t work and every hallway smelled like oil from the Japanese restaurant downstairs. Wouldn’t stay there again
- RyanJul. 22, 2019Not good, broken locks everywhere, poor maintenance
This aloft is the only one I've ever been to and had a bad experience. I would consider it pet tolerant but it's not a great place to walk the dog. There's no pet relief area, and the grass nearby has signs stating no pets.
On floor 6, many of the other guests confirmed their door locks were also faulty and didn't actually lock unless you slammed the door. Even then, you were lucky to get it to work.
The staff seemed miserable to make matters worse. I would suggest staying elsewhere.
- KimMore than a year agoNice hotel!
This is only the 2nd hotel we’ve stayed at with our dog and they seemed super pet friendly. I could walk with him anywhere in the hotel and no one seemed to mind. The guy at the front desk wasn’t super friendly but everyone else seemed ok. The rate was over $30 more at the hotel at check in so I booked through the Fido app and got it cheaper. Parking is an additional $30 as well. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Nashville.
- JackieMore than a year agoNot Too Bad
The guy at the desk when I arrived with my 2 dogs wasn't super friendly, but everyone else that worked there was very nice and loved seeing the dogs. Hotel was nice, overall.
