    Needs updates badly

The staff was great but the room needs some updates. Carpet has pee stains on it from previous pets, bathroom door is need of repair along the bottom. No breakfast in the morning. When I booked the room it stated it has a continental breakfast. None was provided being a diabetic it is imperative to have breakfast. I will not book here on my way back.

    Great location, room was okay

Room was noticeably the pet-friendly room, carpet was somewhat stained and had an odor. However, staff were nice, beddings and bathroom were clean, and the property included a wonderful dog-walking space with lots of greenery.

    Shabby and run down

The price was right but the property wasn’t.it wasn’t. It looked like there was a lot of deferred maintenance. Check in was slow because the staff member behind the desk was having a 10-minute anti-vaccine chat with another person who was checking out. She even went as far as pulling her shirt off of her shoulder to show him a bad reaction to a different vaccine. The next morning, I checked out in two minutes so it was the chat and the employee that were the cause of the problem and not the system. The bathroom was so small I could touch the opposite walls at the same time. The door didn’t fit the frame so light from the hallway streamed in at night. Two drawers on the dresser would not stay shut no matter how many times we pushed them back in. The pool was closed and there was no attempt made at providing any of the complimentary breakfast. Other places have managed with fruit and packaged items. The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars instead of one is because the beds were comfortable there was plenty of hot water, and there was a pet area outside. I’m sure there are better options in this area.

They need to fix things in rooms that need repair!!!!!

The toilet didn't work, it wouldn’t flush. The bathroom sink only had hot water. The tv was broken. I would have asked for another room but we got in late and we were tired and had just unpacked when we found out this was a room in need of repair!!!!

    Less than expected...

Our third stay at a La Quinta in about a month. First two times earned 5 bones from us. This time we felt as if all amenities were omitted and the reason was blamed on Covid. (TN is open now.) No breakfast, no coffee, not enough pillows or towels. Place was cramped and dated. Three bones because it was clean. Paid more for this room than the first two previous stays. Just feel they're making excuses for poor service.

    Not so clean

I know these are rooms for folks with dogs, but the carpet was so dirty that I didn’t want to walk on it without shoes, and the room smelled like urine. It really was so disagreeable.

    Awful, Awful, Awful

First of all, it was CROWDED during a pandemic. Though it seemed as if everyone was following proper CDC Guidelines, it still wasn't a great start to see a packed lobby. Secondly, our room was not clean. There was some strange crusty stain on the bed, it was incredibly musty in there (my cat has asthma so we were up a lot of the night checking her breathing), and it was FREEZING cold. My spouse and I were snuggled so tight with our dog to keep warm. The heater was broken and there was no real comforter on the bed, only a few thin sheets. Outside the window was like being at a NASCAR race with cars' bright lights and loud engines all night. It was hard to keep our dog quiet. So you make your sign a waiver saying they have the right to remove us if our dog barks too much, but there's no waiver about running your car's headlights, aimed at hotel windows all night? We had just come off of six hours of driving and were looking at 8 more in the morning. This was not restful.

    Not the best experience

For starters, the lady working the counter the night we arrived was not the nicest person and then when we arrived in our room we noticed it wasn't clean. Our room had a weird smell, towel was dirty but worst of all there was four large boogers in our sink. It was very disgusting. Would not stay there again.

Yikes but fine for quick stay

Front desk staff was friendly. Cheap and you pay for what you get. Definitely a wear shoes in the shower type of place. Wasn’t the cleanest. Sheets look worn, cigarette burn in comforter, mini fridge had old food dripped down it. We stayed for less than 12hrs and it’s dog friendly so it is what it is! Good location right outside of Nashville’s main area.

    Do not stay here

I had my car broken into and a duffel bag with souvenirs and gifts stolen out of my car. one employee told me it was my fault for risking staying there. the manager didn’t even want to talk to me at first but eventually did saying they were not responsible and that there were signs stating that(there were no signs where I had parked my car at stating anything of the sorts). overall was not a good stay.

    Not bad

We have stayed here several times while traveling. It's convenient to restaurants and quiet. It's relatively clean and they have sanitizer available for use. The only hiccup this visit is there wasn't any coffee available. Mainly because the lady at the front desk is "tired of babysitting people"

The staff here was amazing BUT....

The front desk could not have been more perfect! This may have been an isolated incident BUT most call cars park near me ( on side of building ) were broken into...windows shattered! IF you need to stay here, I recommend parking your car near the entrance ; those cars were untouched.

    Just perfect!

We were on a mission from Maine to Arkansas to rescue a 13 yr old Cairn terrier & this was the perfect place to rest up after a 400 mile day with our beagle!

    Miserable stay

We were booked for a king bed, got a call 1/2 hr before we checked in and told they only have 2 double beds. I said ok. Got there and felt like a second class citizen because I had a dog. She was training somebody and was explaining we keep these people away from everyone else. That night I believe I was bitten by fleas. At least I hope they were fleas and not bed bugs. I love La Quinta, but this hotel did not stand up to the standards I was use to.

    Kind of run down

The hotel had stains on the carpet (probably from other dogs) and on the sheets. Since we came during the COVID-19 restrictions there was no maid service every day which is understandable. However, there were no instructions on what to do with the trash (we stayed there 5 nights) And if we could get cleanings when we were out of the room. I really wished there was stuff specifically for our dog - like dog treats or a dog bed to borrow. The little patch of grass they had available had poop all over it. The pool was not cleaned often. We had to actually clean it out. There was hair, bugs and leaves in it. I will say that the staff was nice so that’s why I rated it 3 stars instead of lower.

    Noisy, smelly, and overcrowded

Age hasn't been kind to this location. Everything was old, from the I'll taken care of decor to the rusty hardware. I fought with the toilet to make it stop running, and every time the A/C kicked on it sounded like a train coming through. Not thirty minutes after I got to my room, the front desk was banging on doors in my hall. I'm not sure what was happening, but judging by the thick smell of pot in the hall I can only assume. Had to walk my dog around the block to get to a clean chunk of grass without broken glass and waste. There were dogs barking throughout the afternoon - probably left alone by their owners. I wasn't given a WiFi password, nor any info about check out or breakfast. I stay at La Quinta often because of their dog friendly accomodations but I would never recommend this location.

Decent hotel - convenient to highway

The hotel was okay. The room smelled a little like dog urine, but not overly deodorized. I hate when it smells really strongly scented to cover pet smells. The staff was nice, though. It was cheaper than most, so if you're cost conscious, it's not a bad place to stay

    Not so nice

The good part was the morning service people, front desk/checkout and shuttle driver were very pleasant. The not so good part, the facility itself. Compared to a lot of other La Quintas I’ve stayed at recently, this does not measure up. Facility is old, hallways and rooms smell musty.

Older hotel with musty rooms. The staff was friendly. We stayed just one night with our corgi and cat as we were just passing through. Would probably look at other options next time.
