What I have learned from staying as several hotels from this chain over the holidays is (1) bring your own shampoo, lotion, (2) housekeeping services are not available, and (3) there is little pride in appearance— trash is abundant, the clientele do not pick up after their pets and general maintenance is behind. For this particular hotel, the flooring had just been replaced and it was emitting a horrible headache inducing smell, so although it was cold out, I kept the windows open.

The room wasn’t very clean. I understand we were in a pet friendly room but there were white pet hairs on the floor and beds from the previous dog. No coffee at breakfast and no one around as far as staff. For $150 I just expect better.

We are still not sure exactly what was going on, but our dog was hearing noises and would not settle for a long time, which meant we were not able to really sleep either. There was a banging above us and possibly in the hallway and my husband said he saw the desk person cleaning. Not sure what was going on, but we didn't have this problem at the other hotel. We had the same problem as Christine with climate control and it still being a bit humid and not cool enough in the room. Compared to the other LaQuinta we stayed in (Macon, GA), this one did not have nearly as nice of a breakfast in terms of options. They had tiny foam cups for coffee. It was almost like they had run out of things (it was a Saturday). Considering it was a last minute stop, it wasn't horrible.

Welcomed our dog with open arms. Room was extremely clammy. The air worked ok, but there was so much humidity in the room that it was hard to get comfortable. They sheets were actually damp it was so humid. Was woken up at 5am by the smell of pot coming in from our AC unit. Breakfast was ok. Beware of the sausage. They look boiled at best.
