  Not worthy of La Quinta

  I should have read these reviews. Our room had vinyl wood floors, dirty yet better than carpet. The bathroom was fairly clean with a nice shower, no tub. Hole in bathroom door, baseboards coming off the walls, paint scratched off the walls. Maybe nail polish on duvet? Bed comfy. Not a lot of grass for walking the dog. Don’t recommend.

  Scary

  We had a nerve racking stay at this property in Amarillo. La Quinta properties are usually a solid choice when traveling with pets - but this one location needs cleaning up. Corner unit had some shady individuals going in and out of the room all night long. Would not recommend.

  Inexpensive but worth it?

  Sheets were clean but not bed spreads, floor made our feet and socks black and bathroom was not clean

  Absolutely Disgusting Hotel

  This hotel was absolutely disgusting. There were long hairs and lint all over the sheets, the furnishings were all broken and chipped. I normally like La Quintas, but we were so grossed out by this place, that we couldn’t sleep and just left very early that morning.

  Terrible

  Don’t waste your time or money. Seedy motel, room was disgusting and smelled like human pee, beds were made but nothing else was clean. All cement sidewalks and the only “dog area” is a small square of dirt BEHIND a dumpster. Sketchy people all around outside looking in car windows and trying handles of every car, trash everywhere. Walked in, immediately walked out and canceled our stay. But BringFido was extremely kind during the situation and got us a refund immediately! First time using this app/website, will use BringFido again and recommend to everyone

  Worst ever

  We have been using BringFido for years and many times stay at La Quintas. Our stay at this La Quinta was horrible and unacceptable. Besides the filthy grounds, the room was filthy and the toilet would not fill. This place is an embarrassment to Wyndham.

  Not a good area, grounds were dirty

  Hotel parking lot has trash everywhere. Only a tiny patch of grass to walk our dog and there was poop everywhere on it.

  Good location, but needs some TLC

  Great staff and easy check in. Close to the freeway and easy to access. We stayed in the king suite which was spacious but dirty. The hotel hasn’t been updated in awhile - I get it so no points were taken away for that. But, it simply wasn’t clean. Hair on the bathroom floor, coffee machine was not cleaned, the room wasn’t vacuumed, nor were any of the floors in the hallways. The price was good but I wouldn’t recommend them just based on lack of housekeeping. They were very pet friendly but the property really isn’t. No place to let your dog stretch his legs other than walking around the parking lot. They had a dog spot but no bags. :(

  1st class!

  Older property but well maintained. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Have stayed here many times and will continue to do so on any future trips.

  Filthy Room

  The room was filthy and the entry door was bent at the bottom and would not close properly. There were few places for our dog to relieve himself.

  Appalling

  The room stunk as soon as you walked in. The stench of cigarette smoke and musty, humid air greets you as soon as you open the door. The carpets were filthy and the furniture had a layer of filmy dirt. That wasn’t even the worst part. Next we entered the bathroom where the tub was just black with filth. We immediately repacked the car and bolted out of there. Didn’t even bother to go to the front desk to check out, did it while driving away. This was not a $49 dollar a night hotel, this was 100. Avoid at all costs. Not fit for man or beast.

  No mirror in the room, which makes it hard to get ready. Torn carpet. I guess the room was serviceable, but nothing more. The pet area was horrible. Poop everywhere and no poops bags in the holder. I would fault the pet owners, but I bet some of them would pick up the poo if there were bags. Breakfast was in a sack and nothing good.

  The motel is clean enough. Except for dog walk area, it is well kept. A lot of pet owners don’t bother to clean up after their pets.

  Eh...could be worse

  It's a convenient location, located off the 10, beyond that there isn't much to praise. The room was clean, but old and worn and not worth what I paid. One of the amenities offered is a grassy pet area. Actually, there are two. Unfortunately, they are disgusting. I guess I can't fault the La Quinta for inconsiderate pet owners, but it's obvious the facility makes no effort to keep the areas clean. There is as much trash strewn around as there is pet waste. It served its purpose during my trip (a place to crash with my dog), but I think I'll skip this place the next time I'm passing through.

  Carpet in pet rooms?!

  Carpet had obviously been marked too many times to count. Room was not cleaned well and I had wile down everything with disinfectant wipes before we could even touch anything. Will not go for the cheap room again. Seriously not worth it.

  Convenient room

  The room was on the ground floor and opened to the outside so this was great having a dog. Unfortunately the hotel was very noisy much of the night, so we were all kept awake.

  Aside from the concern that my car would be broken into, avoiding the crack pipes in the Parking lot, and sleeping in my clothes with the idea that I would just burn them later, I wouldn’t recommend! dog rooms were nasty, keep your shoes on, smelled like someone was smoking crack recently, and very glad I had my own pillow. They should try spending some of the money on the room renovations rather than the lobby.

  Just OK

  It's cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. The handle on the door was very loose which made it difficult to open the door. Very noisy! Lost of banging from doors closing. You can clearing hear people outside. There is a pet relief area, which is nice. It's ok for a one night stay. Any longer, and I would go somewhere else.

  good for the price

  room was clean. Dogs had grass to go potty. Only thing I was disappointed with was the grab and go breakfast. I understand they can't do their regular breakfast right now but I think they could do a little better than a granola bar, water, and juice box.

  Location convenient to I-40

  Rooms were clean and comfortable except the carpet. We slept well the room had lots of space for our two cats to explore and stretch after a long drive. Overall welcoming to pets and spacious and comfortable. Also door dash delivery is free. And also no pet fee.

  Great room and location

  This was our last stop on 7200 mile trek in 7 days to NW from Tx and back. Our room was a coool 60 which was awesome from 95 outside. Bed was excellent and our two pups were happy campers. Thanks BF for a great deal

  Everyone at this hotel loves dogs and are super friendly. There is a lot if poo from irresponsible owners in the pet areas. The breakfast was so so, but free. Waffle house is also right next door. Great place to stay near Cadillac Ranch.

  Pretty ran down

  We're doing a cross country trip West Coast to East Coast. After driving for 9 hours it's decent if you just looking for a bed to get some rest. Building was pretty dirty but room was decent. Beds kind of hard. Coffee maker in the bathroom... Yuck! Toilet didn't want to flush and tub was small.
