Motel style, old carpet, friendly staff.

Very clean, tile floor, spacious room with large refrigerator. Large courtyard being a picnic atmosphere. Imitation grass for pups. Breakfast served from 6-9. They did a great job with this hotel!!!

Clean and modern. But didn't like pet rooms on 2nd floor. Asked for 1st floor but was told almost full. Parking lots don't lie. Not enough cars to be anywhere near full. Didn't appreciate that aspect. Otherwise, good. Decent breakfast too.

Spent one night. The concept is great, but they have some work to do. Great large area in front of rooms to exercise your leashed dog and sit in the sun. Why don’t people pick up after their animals? 😡Noisy ac/heater and road noise. Decent breakfast. It seems all vinyl floors in the pet room everywhere are dirty -better than carpet. OK for the price.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Atrea Inn in Amarillo on our way to Texas from Colorado. Unpretentious inn with everything you need for an overnight stay while on the road. No issues during our stay. I would definitely stay here again when I'm passing through on a road trip.

AstroTurf lawn area for the pups with lots of seating outdoors for folks to gather. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable enough for passing through.

Don't be fooled by the photos, this is a very old hotel that has been refurbished but walls are still paper thin. Reasonably clean. Fake grass surrounding a gravel/dirt area is kind of gross. Terrible part of town.

The exterior and lobby area are recently remodeled. The rooms are so so with cleaning. Towels were thin and spotted. The carpet needed cleaning. The biggest issue was noise. The walls are so thin I could hear the tv from the neighboring room almost all night. And the people upstairs sounded like the floor was collapsing coming downstairs. The hotel really has only a tiny spot of grass for your dog. Had to walk my dog all the way around the block to a neighboring church with a larger grassy lawn to potty. It’s also not located in an area one would feel the most comfortable being in after dark. It was a glorified Motel 6 stay that was not worth the higher rate, but as it was a late booking while on the road it was an okay stay. Front desk staff were friendly.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Atrea! Staff was friendly, room was clean, bed was comfy, and the comp breakfast was tasty! Lots of dogs around the courtyard, and the mural is amazing!

This place has a faux clean exterior but it is so shabbily put together that I predict it will be falling apart in weeks. Everything from the bad paint job to the see-through bath towels to the paper-thin walls...it's all just CHEAP. Further, the front desk couldn't even tell me their COVID protocol. She told me they'd had 3 housekeepers quit today and couldn't find anyone who wants to work... clearly not what you want to hear when asking about how and when the room was cleaned. Plus, the plastic (literally) grass in the courtyard... so dog pee and poop just laying on the plastic. Gross. Needless to say, I won't be back.

This hotel has had a complete redo and has really clean finishes and a comfortable bed. There is an actual full size refrigerator (sm) in your room. And a counter that makes it easy to transfer your travel cooler into it. It it totally dog friendly! They have an entire yard that is fine gravel and areas of turf for lots of room to walk safely at night for that outdoor business. The people working there are very friendly and helpful. They have a breakfast bar. And I loved that their room keys are a ‘tap’ rather than insert plastic. It may sound silly, but when you’re hands are full of dog lease and a suitcase, it was a brilliant thing! I would have given it 5 bones for all that. My only critique is that the rooms are small, and there is no chair to sit in- to watch tv etc., just one desk chair. If none of that matters to you, then it is a really good place to stay w/ your dog. And you can’t beat the price.

We stayed at Atrea Inn for a night during our road trip and it was the perfect stop. The rooms were very clean, the lobby has a southern charm picturesque vibe, and they have a courtyard with tables, chairs, and bbq pits to enjoy the outdoors with your family & pups. It was located in a great spot in town and easily accessible. The front desk staff also gave my pup a bag of treats, we felt very welcome!
