While at first this location didn’t look like it would offer much, this is easily the nicest place we’ve stayed in a 3-week cross-country drive (with stops and visits). Rooms are large, and include a table, with still plenty of space for pup’s bed. No designated pet area, but there’s a grassy area at the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut right next door.

Older property. Clean. 2 buildings. Good parking close to room. Ground floor for dogs, though not much grass. Pizza Hut and McDonalds nearby. 200 miles from Ruidoso. Very Nice staff. Acceptable property;

Went to check in on Dec 27, had a room reserved, but the lady at the counter was trying to put me in a smoking room. According to her, it was all she had. I didn’t request that and would never stay in a smoking room. After the longest time of her clicking on her computer, I asked for a cancellation and a refund. At that very moment a room came available. The room is old, the bed has the oldest spring mattress ever. You feel every hard spring on it, it creaks and is not fit for human use. Shady people hanging out in the dark recesses of the property and property parking lot around midnight. Seemed like they were brought around by the lady at the counter. She was in the parking lot speaking with the shady characters. Will never stay here and will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Don’t do it. Don’t spend your money here.👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Room was nice, breakfasts was typical Covid grab bags. Not much of an area to walk your dog; a dearth of grass. Location is pretty much on the main drag. We kept our fan on for white noise. Don't forget the $25 upcharge...
