    Shabby, no grass area

I thought they had a grassy area but only rock flower beds. Room was a little shabby. It was clean. It was ok for one night but don't think I'll go there again. Ice machine wasn't working and had to hunt for another one. Elevator broken. We are elderly and had 2nd floor room. Very tiring.

    Hotel is sketchy

The lady receptionist was very professional and friendly, and recommended a restaurant we really enjoyed. She was the best part of the stay. Our room was disaster - filthy carpet with multiple stains, a chair do dirty we wouldn’t use it. There were mold marks on the ceiling over the tub, etc. It was a disappointment, and we were happy to depart. Also, for a pet friendly hotel, there was no grassy area for walking dogs. The whole place needs to be redone, unless this is the way La Quinta has decided to go. Awful!

    Dated and crowded

Was clean and pups were welcome.

    Very good

We usually stay at La Quinta, even before we travelled with a dog, and service is always adequate. The only minor complaint I might have is that their breakfast has deteriorated. Selections are more varied at the local 7-11.

    They were remodeling

The room that I was given was a little dated. The photos online were apparently newer.

    Basic Needs Met

Parking is terrible, but at the late hour we checked in we were able to park our Uhaul and trailer at the Cracker Barrel next door. The room was basic but met our needs for the night.

    Great for an overnight stay

Nothing fancy, but it serves perfectly for a traveler on the I-10. Bed is comfortable. Room has a decent sized small fridge. Not one of those square cube types. I recommend this location!

You Get What You Pay For

We checked into this hotel for one night with our mid-sized Golden Retriever. We were happy that we didn’t have to pay an additional pet fee. The front desk staff was friendly, the hotel was in a good location, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The entire hotel, including our room, looked tired and beat up. We stayed in a King Suite, and while we appreciated the extra room, there were several stains on the carpet and furniture. The tub and fixtures certainly didn’t give us a feeling of being clean because they were just very old.

    Overnight Stay

The room was a good size and clean. They were severely understaffed. We arrived at 6PM and requested extra blankets. We did not receive them until close to 10pm! They had no grassy area for the dog to do his business. Not sure I would stay here again.

    Very terrible smell.

This place seemed like it had never been cleaned. It had an old gym sock smell to it that was so overwhelming. Not good.

    Beautiful, clean hotel

Great hotel and pet friendly, but the rudest front desk I've ever encountered.

    Good Older Hotel

Staff was friendly, helpful. The site is a bit older, other pet owners haven't picked up after themselves.

    Stay away

We had to book 2 rooms to accommodate our 3 dogs ( no problem, just would have been easier to charge us for the third pet). We were assigned 2 rooms on the third floor (very inconvenient with dogs) as far as possible from any area for the dogs to relieve themselves. Actually there is no pet area. One of the rooms had a badly stained carpet and the in room refrig door was broken. We're stuck for 1 night but we're out of here. Hopefully we can get our money refunded

    Great location

The room was very nice. There was grass for doggie relief. But why do they put us on the third floor? With two big dogs, it wasn't easy going outs the room down an elevator and then to where dogs could relieve themselves. But the good location on the west side of El Paso. Very convenient if going west. Easy on and off the interstate and a Cracker Barrel next to the hotel. 4 bones because of third-floor room.
