Older motel, but the room was clean and comfy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Being the southwest in the summer, grass was non existent. The area cleared by the hotel for dogs was free of thorns, however pet patrons were not very considerate, and had left quite a bit of pet waste.

Filthy hotel. Plastic bag tied on shower faucet to divert leak. Someone's sock left on floor. Stains on carpet and bed comforter. Shower had dirt caked on upper shower stall. Took 10 minutes to get water hot in shower.

Everything was sold out and we had to stop and sleep so this was the only option. Room smelled as if the carpet and drapes had never been cleaned. Shower had hair. Pet relief area was abysmal.

I will say up front, read the reviews. They are very accurate about the stains on the white bed sheets. This place gets 2 bones bc 1) the customer service was great and 2) although not truly a continental breakfast, they did have juice, granola bars and yogurt for the taking. So lets talk about the rooms: yes the bed sheets have stains in them, and the bathroom tub was kinda dirty. Really just use this place to take a quick nap then leave. There was a bunch of people arguing and congregating outside. People were outside the room just arguing and being loud. Again, just go there for a quick night's rest then book it! I will not be staying here again :)

I will start with the pros: easy access to the interstate, dog friendly (of course), friendly staff, clean bathroom, comfortable bed. Cons: stained carpet (I wouldn't walk on it with bare feet it looked so nasty), disgustingly stained arm chair, air conditioning unit was loud and made a creaking sound, the shower head was super janky and most importantly the outside areas for the dogs had burs that get stuck in out dogs paws and there was trash and broken glass all over the outside areas.

The room are grounds were clean, and the desk clerk was very friendly. Our dogs were welcome. The bed was extremely comfortable. No complaints and would stay again for a drive through overnight stay.

Location just built and rooms are nice and clean. No carpeting in room which is great if you have a dog that has accidents. We were pleased that there were two small dog runs on the property, but disappointed that dog owners left lots of dog poop on the ground in them - especially since they have plastic turf in them vs dirt or cement. People, these clearly are for dog play, not poop. That’s even what the sign says. if your dog does poop, clean it up. Really!!! - BillieMay 2, 2021Nice and quiet

This has changed names--still a Wyndam property but not a LaQuinta Inn. Very, very old property. TV cable box was unplugged. The lock didn't work most of the time. Someone tried our door at 1 AM so my wife didn't sleep well the rest of the night. Wife asked for a receipt when we checked out and was told (with an attitude) it would come by email. we haven't received it yet. No attempt at breakfast although other hotels we stayed at had breakfast. Only had coffee and when asked for half and half or creamer the answer was, we don't have any. Would not stay here again!!!

We had three very well behaved dogs. They made us purchase 2 rooms, they said no more than 2 dogs per room! And it wasn’t at the $59 rate like they advertise! we were charged $99 per room!

This is absolutely a pet-friendly hotel. Room was huge with tons of space to spread out our stuff and dog stuff! King bed was super comfy. WiFi worked great. Could park directly in front of our room. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, no breakfast, but the price was right regardless. Other than being an older hotel, as other reviewers have stated, mini fridge and microwave worked great, towels were clean, furniture was comfy.

If I would have read the reviews I would have chosen a better place. Not many options in Fort Stockton. Stains on the floor and bedspread. Smelled like smoke. The people at the front desk were friendly so they get one bone.

Stains on the floor and one of the bedspreads. I literally turned back the covers to make sure there were no bed bugs. Dirty baseboards and carpet. Horrible LaQuinta. I wouldn’t even walk barefoot on the carpet. We stayed in a LaQuinta in Phoenix that was wonderful. This one. Never again.
