      Great location

      Helpful front desk, nice room with extremely comfortable bed, nice hot breakfast and treated our little fur baby wonderfully.

      Kinda smelly

      The hotel is located in a decent location, and they allow crated dogs to be left in the room which is great for making exploring Fredericksburg easy. However, our room felt humid and smelled strongly of a combination of mustiness and dog urine, so much so that I went to Walmart and bought air freshener. I should have asked to be moved to a different room, because upon waking I had almost lost my voice from throat irritation from sleeping in the dank room. I am assuming the air filtration was poor and the room was carpeted, so I am a little disturbed to imagine what is growing in the rug.

      Good location

      No surprises here. This La Quinta provided what was expected. Not flashy, but very reasonable.
