Loved this place! Very pet friendly....right on the beach...nice bar and grill on premises. Omelette bar for breakfast.....be sure you walk IN TO THE DINING AREA.... Omelette bar is on your right. I almost missed it! We'll be heading back next year and spending a few more days than we did this year!

Walk out the door to a huge deck and onto the beach. Nice staff, and comfortable accommodations. Tons of dogs!

Great beach location. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice room but lacking some general maintenance, paint and caulk. Good pet area.

I will start with the positive - dogs are allowed for $20/night and the property is located right on the beach. There were a lot of people at the hotel so business is clearly good for the positive reasons I listed but we will not be back. For the money this property so clearly brings in, the fact that La Quinta does not invest in upgrading/updating leaves me baffled. This property is so tired. So, so tired. Disappointed.

The hotel staff was friendly and the room was somewhat clean. No extra fee for pets but the hotel has absolutely no grass or pet potty area. Well to be fair, they have about two square feet out front with a concrete fire hydrant (or walk about a quarter of a mile to the front of the hotel drive way). But any large dog will have a hard time going in said space. Save yourself the trouble and rent next door as far as pet potty convenience goes.

So pets don’t stay free as some reviews state but it’s nice when it’s 20 a night. Right on the beach and very nice to our dog he’s about 70 pounds and everyone treated him like he was 15 haha I recommend to the next puppy parents

We stayed here for 5 nights and checked out this morning. The pros: fantastic housekeeping, steps from the beach, no pet fee, breakfast included. The cons: front desk clerk who checked us in was not very nice, but biggest con was that you have to take your dog through the hotel and busy pool patio to get out to the beach or through the hotel and out the front door to get to a small area of grass. They have a great path on the side that could be utilized to take dogs out and avoid the crowds, but it was locked with a bicycle lock. When I asked why, they said the front door needs to be the only exit and entrance. A real bummer.
