We stayed here two years ago and while there were a few extended stay guests it was still mostly a hotel and an okay stay. Lots of areas to walk the pups. Our stay in January of 2023 was a huge disappointment. The majority of guests are more like residents. Long term migrant workers, 99% single males. In the evening when it is dinner time the stench of so many cooking so many different foods was intolerable. There is basically no ventilation while cooking so the smell is trapped. We left EARLY the next morning before breakfast was cooked. We didn’t get a very secure feeling in either the hotel or parking lot with so many men hanging out on the stairs, lobby and parking lot. We won’t be back.

We stayed in a suite with two queen beds for one night. Bed was almost too soft but for one night it was fine. Never could find the outside doggy area but there was plenty of grass for Romeo to do his business (and I always clean up after him). I do not believe there should be a MANDADORY pet fee but an agreement you sign when you arrive that states "IF" your dog causes any damage that you will be charged either a $50 small pet fee or $100 for large dogs but not a blanket charge just for having a dog. My 6 1/2 lb dog does not shed and did not cause any damage so for me to be charged a BLANKET fee was unreasonable. I would have preferred for the staff to examine the room to see that no damage had occurred and then release the requirement for the fee. I mention this since I see more and more hotels that DO NOT CHARGE a pet fee at all so this hotel should get on board.

Decent area outside to walk your dog(s). The room was nice and the bedding was updated from what the photos show. Great deal area, small kitchenette that was fully equipped, recliner and 2 queen beds. Our dogs had plenty of room to play inside the room. One negative was that our TV didn’t work. The front desk offered to move us to another room or to come up and try to fix it but we were too tired from driving all day. I would definitely recommend this hotel you you and your fur babies.

Stay was great. Staff was super nice. No central ice machine in building, you’re supposed to turn on the one in your room fridge. Not knowing that, I asked if there was a central ice machine, and in addition to them telling me to turn on the ice maker in my fridge, they filled my cup with ice from the office fridge. Great solution. Only hitch with the stay was the room had a queen size bed. Fido reservation was for king. Had to return to front office and straighten it out - got a king room.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was on the first floor and easy to walk our pup. Room was extremely clean and well lit. There were sufficient grassy areas to walk puppy. Signage said "PAW - Pets Are Welcome." The shampoo/conditioner/shower gel was great, the kitchen area was great to wash doggie bowls, and the fridge need to keep fresh doggie food cold. We would stay here again.

We absolutely will stay here again when we pass thru this area, and we will also look for other Candlewood Suites locations. We found the room to be extremely clean, the kitchenette well-stocked, and the bedding very comfortable. The checkin process was quick and painless. The hotel grounds provided ample, well-lit areas for dog walking, and the room was very quiet in the evening (so, nothing alarming to bark about) We and Layla give this location a five-bone rating.

Nice clean place that is great for humans and canines. Plenty of green space for walking pups and comfortable for people. Would stay here again on my next trip!
