  Needs Maintenance Update

  This is an older property that needs work. Our room had wet, mildew carpet and a clogged drain. My brother's room had a broken tv. The sheets didn’t fit the beds and a light in the bathroom needed to be replaced. The evening clerk was not very receptive. The only shining light who helped us navigate through the maintenance issues was a young man, Mahamone! He got us a new room, changed the bathroom light and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. He was extremely accommodating. Would not book this property again

  Terrible conditions

  I was booked into this property when its “sister” hotel failed to hold a pet friendly room that I had booked a month in advance. Since the other hotel didn’t tell me this until the morning I was to check in and nothing else was available, I was stuck. This place is run down and filthy. Little to no attempt to clean the room was evident. There is a sticky substance on the desk next to my laptop as I type this. The metal safety lock is cracked and there is a hole in the wall opposite it. I assume someone tried to force the door open and the people who run this place think it’s fine.

  On one occasion, I had to find another stairway to use when the house cleaning crew was banging a wheeled cart down the stairway I was attempting to ascend. There is no elevator—at least not that I could find. And the stairwells are shockingly narrow. A minor thing but still showing how little they care: The power had apparently gone out or the clock was unplugged and the wrong time was flashing as the crew couldn’t be bothered to reset it.

  And who puts a carpet in a pet friendly room? Answer: This place does. If you stay here (and I can’t imagine you would after reading this review), the water in the shower is reversed. If you barely turn it on, the water is scalding hot. You have to turn it on full to get cold. That can be dangerous if you are unaware. In short, this place is a dump.

  Really a gross place, even for the low price. Nasty. Dirty. No elevator. Long list of breeds not accepted.

  Keep your shoes on

  The default rooms are on the second floor, no elevator, narrow stair case, so taking large dogs up to the second floor can be challenging. They do give you an option to choose a ground floor room for a $5.00 upgrade. The room was clean and comfortable but keep your shoes on as the floor felt dirty and damp. The continental breakfast consists of a waffle iron or toast, apple and orange juice (that's it). I will try a different hotel next time.

  Big room, very comfortable bed

  On our tour of affordable pet-friendly hotels Americas Best Value was one of the best ones. Clean, large room with very comfortable beds, nice grassy spot to walk the doggies. Breakfast a little disappointing (no fruit or oatmeal) but the coffee was good.

  Not clean

  Majorly overdue for a renovation outside and inside. NO ELEVATOR! Some green space out front, but avoid the back which appears to be a dumpster or junkyard. Carpet was not clean at all and was way past its lifespan. The couch was too dirty to allow our boys to even sit on it! King bed was hard but too flexible for our tastes, and we had a tough time sleeping. Shower was extra hot. No continental breakfast, just drinks and snacks. Unfortunately staff did not demonstrate a friendly or helpful attitude to us.

  Clean and comfortable

  A very good value for the price it is a budget friendly hotel the room and hall noise is a little difficult with thin walls and doors but the pet friendly room was the perfect price for an overnight stop on a road trip.

  Best price, nicest stay.

  I was making an intense drive to get from point A to point B over 4 days. I paid the best price here and the room was cleaner and nicer than anywhere else I stayed on my trip. Many thanks for a great stay!
