  Loved our pet-friendly room!

  Room was great!!! I was disappointed that the cozy little cafe here was only open for breakfast. I also don't eat Mexican food when I am traveling, so I was really disappointed. Used to love to stop here on our way to California. The room was great though!!!?

  Big Dog friendly

  I’ve stayed here multiple times. Most of the hotel is one level, a major plus. There is a grassy pet area near a golf course. Always a lot of other dogs staying there so if your dog is a barker you don’t feel as embarrassed. Staff always friendly, they allowed us to have 3 dogs (2 small, one big) in our room. They were so accommodating.

  Good location and amenities

  The hotel is associated with a pretty good Mexican restaurant that also provides a free proper breakfast to guests. There is a gas station right there to complete the normal traveler's requirements. The room was dated but clean. Unfortunately, they didn't really make appropriate arrangements for the dog. I was given a 2nd floor room and told main Floor was not available. Access was via a set of expanded metal stairs that my dog was having no part of. This required me to carry the 35 lb dog up and down for every potty break. That's why I only assigned 3 bones.

  Just ok

  The check in was quick and the person was friendly though unmasked. He changed my room to one on the first level which was nice and right next to the "dog area." It's a patch of grass that is filled with poop. I don't blame the hotel...they have bags there and and disposal container but apparently no one picks up after their dogs. Also when I arrived at my room there was a man with 2 unleashed dogs in the area. Guess he didn't read the pet waiver! There were bugs in the room but I know this time of year that is hard to control. Part of the curtain was hanging off. Not a great place but fairly clean and I think they are trying to do a good job.

  Decent place and animal friendly

  While it is not the most up to date location and isn’t much to look at, they were friendly and had great areas for the dogs. Our room the first night smelled terrible (old, musty, and like cigarettes). On our return trip we had a different room and it didn’t smell at all. There isn’t much in this little town, but this location is great for a stopover and my dogs were welcomed :)

  Great pet friendly stop

  Very nice rooms, good air conditioner unit, nice and quiet, very good breakfast! Enjoyed the stay! Very pet friendly!

  Simple and convenient

  Nothing fancy but was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was a nice convenience.

  Great for the dog & human

  After a long drive, this was a great stop to relax. Friendly staff at the front desk. Nice, clean & spacious room. Dog-friendly with a walking area. Restaurant next door has great food.

  Love that we could easily get outside with the pups for potty breaks. The staff was friendly.

  Pet fee only $10.00, Great dog walk area, friendly greeting at front desk, nice room with large bathroom. Breakfast included. Will stay here again.

  Family owned and operated

  Great breakfast, attached restaurant. Family run and you notice the pride and the effort to make your stay enjoyable. Especially during these tough times. Thanks. I’ll be back.

  Location is good

  Employees were friendly and accommodating but rooms are very dated and not very clean. After 10 hours on the road we were too tired to care. No real doggie release area, unless you count the golf course behind hotel. :) Wouldn't recommend unless you have no other options.
