  Good setup for pets

  The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave me a room on the first floor just steps away from the outside door. They have a large designated dog area with grass and tables and are well-lit at night. The room was the best so far. Very clean and maintained.

  Beautiful room, indoor pool, price was fair. Only issue is if you use a debit card, they take out twice with one charge dropping off in 24hrs. So if you are tight on cash it could become an issue. Besides that, it was perfect.

  Nice Place

  The room was a nice size and very clean. Small grassy area but adequate for walking the dog. Restaurant nearby. Only problem was that there was very little hot water. Thought it might have been because of the cold weather and many people but the next morning was the same. Took another lukewarm shower.

  Always choose La Quinta first

  This location is exceptionally clean and the staff extremely helpful. They gave us recommendations for local businesses that we would have otherwise missed. Highly recommend if you are visiting Moab and Arches NP.

  Love staying here with our pup whenever we’re in Moab! Pets used to stay for free but they recently changed it to $25, which is still really reasonable. There is a pretty decent pet relief area with some grass for dogs to go to the bathroom, and a nice rail trail for walks right near the hotel! Hotel itself is nice, clean and comfortable!

  My dog fell in love with the bed!

  Okay, I am going to wax on a bit! We are big LQ hotel fans, but the hotel in Moab takes the cake! Super helpful staff and a killer breakfast. La Quinta Inn & Suites Moab is located west of the La Sal Mountain Range in the Moab Valley. The hotel offers a seasonal outdoor pool and rooms with a view of the mountains. And yes, pets are super welcome!

  Wonderful but expensive

  At least this LQ is not yet charging a pet fee. There's a large grassy area and trails for dogs. The room was clean and spacious with an easy chair. Good shower pressure. I used Wyndham rewards but would not stay again if I had to pay full price. It is Moab so price reflects that.

  Good breakfast, small grassy area for pups

  Room was comfy, breakfast was good, coffee good too. Away from main center of town. We had a problem with the AC unit being very loud. Maintenance responded immediately, changed the unit out, but could not solve the problem. Staff was welcoming at check-in.

  Even with a crate, it is no longer possible to leave the pet in the room. It seems they changed the policy, but there is no such an advertisement on their homepage.

  We traveled 3000 miles in 12 days and LA Quinta was the most exceptional. Clean and bedding was awesome. Thank you. We will only stay at LA Quinta inns now with our pet.

  Friendly all around

  Dog friendly through and through. Easy access to outside. Greenspace with a picnic table. Short walking path starts by the pool. Dog treats at the front desk. Friendly staff. Only complaint: the carpet was damp and as a result the room air was damp as well. It seemed as if they might have steam cleaned after the last guest but didn’t give it a chance to dry out.

  Happy Dogs!

  Great dog friendly hotel. There is a grass and tree area adjacent to the parking lot, with poop bag stations. This area is well lit as we found out with a needed pee break in the middle of the night. There is also a concrete path that comes up to the hotel that takes you through a wooded/field area and then into a neighborhood. Good for a quick walk right out of the hotel. Lots of friendly dogs seen at checkin!

  Overall Nice Stay

  Negative - expensive for what it is. But Moab is expensive. 10.5% sales tax. Breakfast was okay. Positive - good size room. Clean. Best was new walk path behind pool. Also a nice grass picnic area. No off leash however.

  Better than average breakfast, smelly room

  Bed and bathroom looked clean but you could definitely tell that pets had stayed in our room. The sofa was so dirty looking we wouldn't even sit on it. Some hotels have given our puppy a treat but not this one. The breakfast was better than average. Mattress was nice and firm.

  Super beautiful huge room (#301 was the best). It was a bit expensive but we were impressed all around. Great location next to the blu pig bbq and not far from the brewery and grocery store. The entire hotel was clean as can be. Awesome and friendly staff. Absolutely worth the money. If you have a pup that loves to swim and or needs a cool off go to Ken's lake. We were in Moab when the run off in the river was a bit too strong and are so happy to have found kens lake. Our dog loved playing in the water and it's a good spot to wade or fish as well.   Awesome experience!

  We had a great time, enjoyed seeing ALLLLL the dogs staying! We are usually the only ones that have dogs at hotels, so super fun to see so many others. The staff, was a bit stiff during check-in, but it wasn’t a negative interaction and we didn’t see any one else the entire time. But the occupants staying were so nice. Lots of great space for the dogs to run a little , and potty. And right next door is The Blu Pig, which is dog friendly!

  Pleasantly pleased to say the least

  I was pleasantly pleased with our stay in Moab. There was ample walking and play area for my dog, which is always a priority. The check-in clerk, Martin, was so helpful and extremely pleasant. I felt very welcome at the La Quinta. The room was clean, they were Covid conscious, very comfy bed and a great breakfast. Like I said, pleasantly pleased!

  Moab is great!

  We had a first floor room close to the exit so we had an easy-in, easy-out couple of nights. Great BBQ restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Very nice room. Suggest you visit the Moab Information Center for ideas on things to do in the area. On their recommendation, did the La Sal Mtn Loop Rd. Fabulous views. We'll be back to Moab.

  This was a great hotel. We went with our 2 kids and 2 dogs and the whole staff was very accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was hot and delicious!! Great place!

  Wasn’t sure how it would be in town but this hotel is enough on the south end and off the street. It was quiet with several large grass areas to walk the pup! And they gave a 10% discount to the Blue Pig which was AWESOME food!! So convenient and comfy!!

  Great location, great for dogs

  This is the perfect place to say if you are traveling to Moab with dogs. The staff are super accommodating and the hotel is set up well for dogs. They have a nice, fairly large grassy area that has picnic tables and grills but great for dogs. It includes a small fenced-in area where you can let your dog off leash however we did not use this. There is a bike trail easily accessible for walking the dogs safely. I have two Labs, which shed a lot, the staff let me borrow the vacuum cleaner to vacuum during our stay. It's also great for humans, the pool is nice and they have a small spa. It's one of the few hotels in which we've stayed that actually provides breakfast, which is decent. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance. We were able to leave our dogs in the room while we were out in the national parks. However our room did not get serviced on those days, which was fine with us. Overall we had a very pleasant stay in our dogs enjoyed it too!

  We loved our stay here. It was very easy to stay with the dogs and a good area to take them outside. We ate dinner at the Blu Pig next door and it was fantastic and super dog friendly. Rooms were nice!

  Traveled for several days through Colorado and into Utah with Fido. We stayed at 3 La Quinta Inns along the way and was very impressed with the hotels and how they accommodate pets. The 1st floor rooms were allocated for the dogs to make things easier for everyone. Moab was the only La Quinta where the room actually smelled like dogs stayed there. Removing the carpets like the other La Quinta's do for the first floor would solve the smell issue. Outside of the pet smells, the staff was very professional and the breakfast buffet hit the spot. The dog walk area worked well too. The fenced in area was all direct but there's plenty of places to walk the dog in the area.

  Great hotel, great location

  This was a great hotel for both humans and dogs. The rooms were clean and large. There was a pool for the humans the breakfast featured plenty of options. The staff was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. Our dog was permitted to remain in the room for short times while we went out. The one downside was the enclosed pet area was just dirt and filthy. There was a grassy area nearby and outdoor seating.

  We’ve stayed at plenty of La Quintas during our travels because they do not charge a pet fee. This has by far been the worst one. The room we were given not only had finger prints all over but also had cat puke on the window sill and pieces of trash on the carpet. We were given another room that had a screeching heater and the mask mandate was absolutely not being enforced as we saw several people congregating in the lobby without them. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

  The rooms can be better but the place itself is great for dogs. The property is convenient in that we are on the first floor a quick walk out to a big grass area, even with poop bags if you ran out. Considering there are a lot of pets, the inn was still pretty quiet and clean.

  It was a great two night vaca with our dogs. This hotel is wonderful. So easy to travel with our dogs to Moab because of this hotel. EASY. I recommend it! Take dogs on a 3-hour hike to Negro Bill Trail aka GrandStaff. It goes by both names when you google it.

  Awful don't stay here!! Dirty floors and bathroom. The front staff didn't seem to want to be bothered with any of my questions and were dismissive. There is a cow manure smell around the property that is overwhelming.

  They have a stupid pet policy that your pets are not allowed on their furniture or bed, and if there are signs that they have been in the furniture, they will charge a fee. With the disgusting floors in their rooms the only place suitable for my dogs was the bed. The only thing I liked about this place is their pet station and walking trails, the pet area was well lit and spacious

  Nice hotel. They gave us a room on 3rd floor away from most of the other dogs. Good outside area for dogs, and also near a path for longer walk. Pricey, but that's Moab!

  Terrific Place

  I stayed one night with my golden doodle while traveling from Flagstaff to Denver. It was so convenient, but even better, it was super friendly and very clean. The outdoor space was amongst the best we’ve experienced. Would HIGHLY recommend this to all!
