  Loved it!

  Very pet friendly, the dog park and little nature trail/walk was great for sniffing and change of scenery. Very accommodating (even bent their two pet policy to allow our two cats in addition to two dogs due to cross country move). Clean and good location off the highway.

  Great Dog Park!

  This hotel had the best dog park that I’ve seen while traveling. Big dogs and small dogs are separated. Plus - there are beautiful paved paths through gorgeous landscaping for leisurely walks. Lovely hotel with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Plus - great fitness center, good hot breakfast and a decent restaurant on the premises. Our dogs loved it and so did we.

  Doggy Paradise!

  Beautiful walking trails, 2 dog parks for small and large breeds. Everything about this stop is pet friendly. I would give 5* if the bathrooms were updated; nonetheless an extremely comfortable stay. Breakfast room is welcoming with many options. Many dog owners I met were repeat guests. Will return and definitely recommend!

  Wonderful place to stay!

  Absolutely beautiful place. Gorgeous event center with grassy and hard scape grounds with waterfalls, fireplaces and fire pit. The entire property is dog-friendly. separate small/big dog, enclosed, grassy dog park. Rooms are nice, very clean with plank flooring (no carpet). Great breakfast, too. Our Wilson gives it 4 bones!

  I have never stayed anywhere quite like this. A beautiful dog run separated by larger and smaller dogs and an amazing property to explore. Stay here if you can!!!!

  Gorgeous well kept grounds with ponds and waterfalls. Very nice enclosed small dog and large dog dog enclosures with grass and places to sit while your dog(s) play. Room was clean and spacious. Also very accessible from I-15/I-84. Highly recommend.

  Awesome dog park

  Loved that I could park in front of my ground floor room which was a great size for me and my two goldens. The on-site dog park was such a great feature - big enough to get some good exercise and the dogs loved it. Also fantastic restaurant right there that you could do take out or eat in. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat

  Loved our stay. Grassy area for the dog. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff was wonderful. Nice big room, but small toilet area. Location was away from Kalispell was the only negative.

  Best dog-friendly hotel!

  My wife and I just finished a 22 day 5,800 mile road trip with our 3 Shetland Sheepdogs, and this was by far the most pet friendly place that we stayed! The dog park was awesome and the hotel offers really nice grounds to walk. We had a very nice spacious and clean room as well. We would definitely stay here again.

  Great dog park and walking paths!

  As previous reviewers have attested, there is a dog park (separate large and small dog areas, relatively clean, well stocked dog bags) and nice walking paths (paved) behind the hotel around some ponds (with some very fat koi). Lots of outdoor seating areas all around the hotel. Breakfast was included, typical offerings for a hotel breakfast (coffee, juice, hot chocolate, rotating hot items, cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt, and those flip waffle makers). Cheerful staff. We got take-out from the associated restaurant Jeremiah’s, which was very busy!! The parking lot cleared out after Jeremiah’s closed so it must be popular with locals. Room was clean, hard flooring, nice mission style furnishings, good larger sized mini fridge.

  Loved the on-site dog parks!

  Have I mentioned the two (one each for large and small dogs) fenced-in grassy dog parks, with doggie water fountains and people benches? A great area to give our dog much needed exercise during a road trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though a little dated. The on-site restaurant offers good takeout, and they even opened a can of dog food for us since we forgot a can opener.

  This place is huge. Its beautiful with a provate dogpark for both big ans small dogs. There is a huge koi pond with a man made waterfall taht has a 0.25 walk through it. The room was clean and no carpet. A warm breakfast is needed.

  Got the dog kennel rooms

  It was OK but nothing more. They apparently have better rooms and suites with a $40 dog charge instead of the usual $25. Once we booked through you, we could not change. The landscaped grounds and enclosed dog park were awesome but not worth the room quality. Few plugs worked. We will not stay here again.

  We had a great experience in our night at the Best Western Plus High Country Inn. Great looking room, plenty of places for my cat to explore while in the room. Great location right off the freeway in Ogden.

  Room was clean and adequate with everything we needed. Microwave and fridge hidden inside the dresser. Dog friendly place was quiet and the grounds absolutely beautiful. Well laid out with a lot of thought and care. Tons of grassy areas, paved walking trail and two completely private and secure off leash dog areas. About the size of mid-size back yard. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend!

  I give this place 20 bones!

  The standard for which all dog-friendly hotels should be judged! The rooms were very nice. The enclosed dog areas were wonderful with grass, benches, and a doggie drinking fountain. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the paths were paved. The breakfast was outstanding and they even had fresh fruit. Dinner was very good at the restaurant next door. We would definitely come back here.

  Extra bone for the dog parks

  Clean but simple rooms (no fridge/microwave). Exterior room entry and outside the room parking was re-appreciated unloading dog plus human gear. Dog parks (large and small dogs) on the premises while small are above and beyond what most places have. Decent restaurant right next door. Covid measures in place to bring a simplified breakfast back to your room or the to-go bag option. Will be a “destination” stopping point for us on our frequent travel between WA and TX. Second stay here and ditto on the above review. Third stay here on 1/26/22. Ditto again on the review.

  Clean, comfy, & great for Fido

  Great for humans and Fido! Rooms nicely remodeled so cozy for humans. Great lighting! All doors open to outside so good for Covid concerns. Well run and maintained. Snowy so just walked around a bit. Great property. 2 dog parks. Josh was super kind! Our remote was dead and he brought us a new one himself! Choose this hotel and you won’t be sorry. Fido was happy!!

  This is another place I would stay with my dog in a second!

  I stayed only one night and had to leave before breakfast so I can't comment on that I can comment on the premise. Great location off the interstate. Plenty of parking with a nice restaurant on the premise where I enjoyed a relaxing dinner. The room was very clean and there were two dog parks on the premise (one for dogs less than 25 pounds and the other for greater). I plan on staying there again in a couple of weeks and would highly recommend it. The lounge is very cozy with a stone fireplace.

  Wonderful stay

  This is a great hotel if you bring your dog. They have 2 dog parks, fenced in with privacy fencing. The dog parks have lots of grass, benches, and a big tree, and poop bags provided (although some people still can’t be bothered to pick up after their dog). They also have a really nice walking trail next to the dog park - a relaxing environment with or without your dog.Their restaurant was super busy - must be one of the better places in town. If we ever come through Ogden again, we will definitely stay here.

  This hotel was positively amazing. They have individual dog yards allowing off leash play regardless of dog size (<25#, >25#) grass, friendly staff, well maintained rooms, beautiful surroundings, gardens and trails. Couldn’t be better and represents fantastic value for money. Also the restaurant associated is great. Had the steak (above average) and my wife ordered the chicken fried steak which well exceeded our expectations. Moscow mules were also ordered and delivered which met expectations for the drinks. Unusual in Utah in my experience. Stay here if you are stopping anywhere near Ogden

  They love dogs!

  We booked this property and we will definitely be back when traveling through there again. The rooms are clean and the pet area is the best we've seen at any hotel. There is a large dog and a small dog relief area that has cool grass and clean up tools and a watering station. After being cooped up for 13 hours in the car our pups loved to run around in the grass and do their thing. The entire property is designed for comfort and relaxing. Lots of space for everyone.

  Love the dog parks!

  Clean rooms, friendly staff, and accommodations for the fur babies (one fenced area for large and another for small dogs) made five bones for us! Jeremiah's - the restaurant in hotel - is excellent! Next trip to Oregon will include a stay here again!

  One of the best we’ve stayed in. Grassy dog park, dog friendly outdoor seating for the breakfast buffet (which is great). Room was very clean and no doggie smell.

  There was a nice dog park, and a large area to walk your dog if the Dog park was full. I only gave 3 stars because there was just a dog park and a large area to walk your dog. I guess the pet charge of $20 per pet is normal.

  Staff was very pleasant and helpful. It was great to have a dog park right on the premises. There was an excellent restaurant (Jeremiah’s) on site as well. Near a nature center too.

  This place has a nice dog yard with a space for large and small dogs. Full buffet breakfast. Had issues w/ room maintenance and sugar ants. Might try a different place next time.

  Great location, friendly and clean. Only down fall was the ac didn’t seem to cool off the room enough. Nice dog park to stretch his legs but inconvenient that we were on second floor. Would stay there again!

  Worst Best Western we have ever stayed in

  The rooms were old, and poorly insulated. We could hear highway traffic, sirens, and conversations outside our room.. We could also hear conversations from adjoining rooms as well as doors slamming late into the night.
  Upon check-in, the customer service agent was not friendly, and after waiting for her to end her private phone conversation, handed me the room keys, and said “you know where everything is, right?” It was raining/snowing and she just pointed at a building and said “your room is in that building”. That was really helpful.
  It was our first and last visit at this location.
  Yes, there was a dog park for pets, but it was cold and snowy so we did not use.
  As for the positive, the room was clean, except for the carpets.

  Small Dog Park(s) on Property

  We’ve stayed here twice and love it. Clean rooms with real wood furniture that is in the Mission Arts & Crafts style. The front parking lot is a bit small and usually full at night because of the hotel and restaurant traffic but the best part about this place is the fenced dog parks—one for small and one for large dogs. They’re kinda small but we have a puppy that’s not quite off-leash ready so the dog park was a perfect place to play fetch in the morning before departing. Highly recommend.

  the two fenced in dog parks on the property are pretty much best I’ve seen at a hotel. all grass with bench’s for the hoomans. one large and one small park separated. very nice. the rooms are nice as well. only thing stopping me from rating 5 bones is the $20 pet fee per night

  Great place. Nice people. Only stayed overnight. The only issue I had was that the poop trash in the dog park had not been emptied for ????? And it stank. But rooms were nice and clean. Would stay again.

  Trying hard & building better

  An older Best Western property. They are building bigger in the back. My 2 dogs loved it even we got the late in the evening. A new “prefab” pair of mini-dog parks are great. Lots of surrounding grass & a future big water feature. The room was clean, but very standard for the age of the facility. The TV remote was unusable basically. But oh well.

  Great for dogs, so-so for humans

  Best Western went out of their way to accommodate pets and I really appreciated that. The accommodations for humans, however was lacking. The rooms need some updating, as the bulky furniture made the room cramped and the bed was uncomfortable. We were only really at the hotel to sleep, so for that it served its purpose.

  This hotel has it's own little enclosed dog park.

  I stayed here one night on a road trip with my dog. The room was very nice, and very clean. I could park in front of my room, which I like. (There are two floors, so make sure to get a ground floor room) The hotel has it's own two small but workable enclosed "dog park" spaces with lawn. One is for all dogs, and one is for small and/or shy dogs. They each have a bench, poop bags, and water for the dogs. The hotel also has some pretty paths around a small man-made pond to wander with your dog.

  There is a restaurant across a shared parking lot. I ordered over the phone, then brought the food back to my room.

  This is right off the freeway, but my room was very quiet.
  Right now (July 2020), because of Covid-19, they don't have a breakfast room, but they do give you a free bag with breakfast goodies in it.

  Return Stay with a Puppy

  I had accidentally booked our stay on the wrong date, one night too early but the front desk gal was not very helpful in straightening it out. However, the next morning, the front desk person, Jessica, was extremely helpful with offering to work with us to get a refund for my mistake. This was our first trip with a pet and an 8-week old puppy at that, a Christmas gift for our daughter. There is plenty of quiet space to walk a dog around. We like staying at this hotel as it's the halfway point between Nebraska and Washington. We love the location and an extra perk this time was a complimentary buffet style breakfast in the morning which was delicious! It seems they are renovating the hotel with improvements and will be really nice when they're finished. The rooms are always clean, comfy and quiet. We look forward to a return trip.

  Substandard Best Western. Drains did not drain, electrical outlets hanging loose on wall, quality of interior workmanship sloppy. Not your usual Best Western that I find generally quite nice.

  Very dog welcoming. Our dogs were comfortable and plenty of close grassy potty areas on property. Nice service too. Friendly and accommodating staff.

  Got rid of big park

  We have stayed here many times. They are building a new hotel where the large grass park was behind the hotel. The koi pond is still there but there is just a small grass area now. The rooms are also really starting to show their age.
